Off Camera March 26th, 2007 Toronto, CanadaThe weather in Toronto in March was at its highest five and at its lowest minus two. That might sound bad to most but it was something Klayton Kross had gotten used to in the fourteen years he’d lived there. It was only Klayton, his brother Krystian and their mom Grace. A long story short, when Krystian was born, Grace came home from the hospital to find her then husband and father of her kids in bed with her sister. Since that day, Klayton and Krystian haven’t seen their father, not that they’d know what he looked like or even who he was. Even though Grace gave him plenty of chances to see his boys, he always chose not to see them. The most important thing though was that the boys had their mom and she’d done everything she could to make sure they succeeded in life. Today was the day that they were moving from Toronto, Canada. The climate that they were used to was something that was changing drastically too with the move. Grace and her two boys were moving all the way to Orlando, Florida back to be with her parents as well as landing an extremely well paid job at the hospital in Orlando. Everything was already packed and shipped off and was supposed to be ready for them when they arrived at their new home in Orlando, Florida. A fourteen year old Klayton sits on the hard floor of the lounge looking out of the window. Even for a fourteen year old, he had a lot going on in his mind. He was both excited about moving but also nervous too. Although he was excited about the new journey and beginnings, he was nervous about having to fit in and get to know people again. It was going to be a whole new world in Orlando and although he’d been there before to visit his grandparents, he’d always been able to come back to what he knew in Toronto. It was a whole different feeling for Krystian, he’d always been the one that was bullied and never allowed to fit in all because he was different. Klayton was always seen as the cool guy whereas Krystian was seen as the person who always wore black and looked upon as a freak. Krystian was already in the taxi ready to go to the airport, whereas Klayton wasn’t and his mom noticed this as she signaled to the taxi driver she wouldn’t be long. After doing so, Grace headed in the house to see Klayton just sitting on the floor and staring out of the window. GRACE KROSS: Klay, I know it’s hard but trust me, I promise you that it’s for the better. She put her hand on the shoulder of Klayton to reassure him. KLAYTON KROSS: I know mom, I’m just going to miss this place and my friends. He got up to his feet and smiled weakly at his mom. GRACE KROSS: I’m going to miss this place too. The new place in time will be much better and you’ll have no trouble making new friends when we get there.KLAYTON KROSS: What if I don’t like it there and don’t make new friends?GRACE KROSS: Come on now Klay. You haven’t even given it a chance. A smart and handsome young lad like you will have no trouble fitting in. You and Krystian are my life, I wouldn’t be doing anything that I felt would not benefit you both. Let’s go before we miss our flight, if you beat me to the car on the plane you can have the window seat.Deep down Klayton knew that his mom would never do anything that wouldn’t benefit them all and knew that the decision she’d made was for all of them. Klayton smiles at his mom before running off towards the taxi and getting in it. Grace gets to the door of the house looking back in for one last time at what used to be their home before closing the door up and heading towards the taxi. Krystian was sitting there with his headphones on, probably listening to music because that’s all he ever does. Whereas Klayton looks at his mom and smiles at her as she returns the smile just before getting into the taxi with them to head off for their new life in Orlando, Florida. Off Camera June 17th, 2011 Orlando, FloridaSince the first day he’d started training three years ago at just fifteen years old, Klayton had been waiting for this very day to come. Today was the day he was going to make his debut in Professional Wrestling. The best thing about it was that his brother Krystian and his mom Grace were going to be there to support him. It was like the same feeling he had the day he had to move too, he was excited and nervous too. Right now, Klayton wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for his mom. She was right when she said “I wouldn’t be doing anything that I felt would not benefit you both.”At first Klayton Kross was extremely doubtful about the move but one day it just all changed. The day he found the wrestling school and persuaded his mom to let him join. The move to Orlando, Florida when he was fourteen years old was one hundred percent the right thing. Again, his mom was right and it always seemed to be that way, it was why he’d always talk to her if he had any problems. Klayton’s mom was like his rock, there was no one he’d rather talk to than her. As Klayton walked up and down the backstage area waiting for it to be his turn up next, all that was thinking about was making his mom proud of him. Obviously his mom would be proud of him either way because that’s just how his mom was. Even though Klayton had made his debut before tonight, he’d witnessed how some people this wasn’t about the wrestling but the fame, money or just to compete in a gimmick match. That wasn’t who Klayton was though, this was about the wrestling to him. He’d made a promise to his trainer that to him it’d always be about wrestling and that he’d never lose that passion like many others had done. DESTRUCTION DARBY: Oi there little man. Stop pacing up and down, you’re making my head hurt damn it!Knowing who it was right away, Klayton stopped on the spot and looked over at Destruction Darby. He was one of these Hardcore Wrestlers, you know the type, would hit each other with glass light tubes and had no ounce of wrestling talent in them. Not only that, the name he’d picked for himself was dumb as fuck too. KLAYTON KROSS: I don’t see a problem with that since there isn’t much inside that head of yours to hurt anyway.Once again Klayton starts to walk up and down as Destruction Darby starts to get even more annoyed. He wasn’t smart enough to realize that Klayton had already insulted him until someone whispered something in his ear. This causes Destruction Darby to stand in front of Klayton who stops on the spot again. DESTRUCTION DARBY: You made me Kross! KLAYTON KROSS: No, if I made you Kross you’d have more talent and know how to wrestle. You’ll never be me, I’m sorry that you can’t accept that you’re a talentless hack. There is a self-satisfied grin on Klayton’s face as he goes to walk past Destruction Darby who uses his power by putting his arm out and pushing Klayton backwards. This causes Klayton to stumble over as Destruction Darby starts to laugh at him. Usually Klayton would be calm and just deal with it sensibly but not today. Klayton had a pure hatred for Destruction Darby, Klayton got up to his feet and used a nearby wall to springboard off and hit a Jumping Roundhouse Kick to the temple of Destruction Darby who hit the floor, he was out cold like a sack of shit before he hit that floor too. KLAYTON KROSS: I’ve always wanted to do that! That’s all Klayton has to say about it as he gets the signal that he's going to be up in a few moments. Klayton just steps over Destruction Darby and makes his way to where he has got to be. Once Klayton’s music kicked in, it was a song from The Radioactive, the band that his brother is the lead singer of. Klayton stands on top of the ramp looking out at the crowd, he stands there taking it in for a moment as the crowd cheer and chant his name. Eventually Klayton manages to spot his really happy mom and even happier brother too that didn’t even know Klayton was going to use his music. That was just the beginning of what was to come for Klayton…
That’s right, another beginning for “Excellence Evolved” Klayton Kross. Although technically it wasn’t the first show that Pro Wrestling Excellence has had, it is still the first matches taking place at The First Victory. KLAYTON KROSS: Watch me, take a good thing and fuck it all up in one night. Yeah, I know that’s from a Machine Gun Kelly song. It’s just a line that I bet is relevant to a lot of you right now. Let me just say that as “Excellence Evolved” that isn’t a line that’ll ever be relevant to me. We all did that introduction thing already, so I’m not going to waste my time or yours by being repetitive as I bet some of the others have. I must say though, PWE has done an EXCELLENT job with building the roster that they have. Excuse me for a moment but I really have to do this, they’re MADE OF EXCELLENCE!!!Pausing for a moment, Klayton can’t help but show off that cheesy grin of his as he sits there with a very colorful shirt on, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle shorts and a pair of black sunglasses on. KLAYTON KROSS: While we’re on the subject of the roster. I want you all to know that I’m here to wrestle. I’m not here for any Hardcore rubbish. If you’re a Deathmatch or Backyard Bastard as I call them because there is no way they’re a wrestler, then you’re exactly what’s wrong with wrestling today. That’s what pisses me off with wrestling today, there aren't enough places out there that are just about wrestling. I was approached by so many companies and as bad as it sounds, some of the offers I just laughed at. When Pro Wrestling Excellence approached me they peaked my attention straight away. Not only with the name of the place and the amazing names on the roster already. But also because PWE was about wrestling, I’m a wrestler and that’s what I’m passionate about. If I wanted to be a barbaric fighter, I’d have signed up with one of the other offers I had, one of them even being from someone who knew nothing about wrestling at all. They just have money and thought it’d be a good idea for them to play at running a company, trust me, I’ve one night stands that have lasted longer than your company will. Having to take a breather, Klayton grabs the glass of water from the table and takes a couple of swigs from it. Once he was more composed and refreshed, Klayton placed the glass of water back down on the table. KLAYTON KROSS: It’s people like you that are a cancer to this business too. You’re killing off what true wrestling is about. You’re forcing those with the actual talent out of the business to replace them with a yes man, woman, alien or whatever your bitch ass wants them to be. I’ve witnessed it myself. How the wrestlers have been pushed out of a company just to be replaced by Backyard Bastards and Deathmatch Dunces. The good thing about PWE is none of that is going to happen. The wrestling talent is going to be on display, those with real talent will reap the rewards and fans will actually be able to see what real wrestling is again. Speaking of real wrestling, it doesn’t matter who you’re in that ring with, you go out there and you wrestle. As much as I love my mom and my brother, if they’re my opponent in the ring, they now longer become my mom or my brother during that match. They just become another person in my way, another person I have to show that I am better than in the ring. Obviously I mean I’ll do whatever it takes wrestling wise. I’m not one of these punks that feels the need to have to cheat to get the job done. That doesn’t prove anything at all, it doesn’t prove you’re better then the person you’ve cheated. It just proves how weak you’re and how much more of a scummy coward you’re too. I’m not mentioning anyone in particular but if you feel the shoe fits then that’s not my problem but yours. I guess it’s shots fired as they say, you know the cool kids that go around saying drip check, swag and all that shit, you get me fam?The shake of the head from Klayton says it all. KLAYTON KROSS: If you really think you’re cool by saying all that, here is a spoiler for you, you’re not cool. They’re a few cool people here in PWE but sorry to say there are a lot of people that aren’t cool either. Most of you have probably singled one person out, only I’m not going to do that. Obviously I know who I am facing in the first match up but when I get through to face the winner of match one, I’m not sure who it’ll be but good luck in your match, just know that luck will run out when you step in the ring with me. I’ll be waiting for the “You’re so arrogant Klayton” comments and other BS that I’m sure some of you are capable of. I’m sorry that you feel threatened by my confidence but it isn’t going to change just because someone on Twitter says something mean to me. That’s the thing about Twitter too, there’s a lot of drama on there, how many of you enjoy that? After asking that question, Klayton reaches out and grabs the glass of water, taking another couple of sips from it. When he was done, he placed the glass back down on the table where he got it from. KLAYTON KROSS: I’ve not been on Twitter long myself but I’ve seen how some of you thrive for it. I’ve also seen how some actually have fun on there and that people are stupid enough to believe that stuff is true just because it was said on Twitter. The funniest thing I do see on Twitter though is the line “Who are you?” Well I’m sorry you couldn’t think up anything better than that. I’ll happily step in the ring with you and try to knock some sense into you though and you’ll soon know who I am then. So it doesn’t matter who comes at me with that bullshit, whether it be anyone on the roster or not, if you fuck around you gonna find out. I know there are a lot of good things about Twitter too, I’d make a list but I’m not gonna waste my time on stuff like that and that’s already being done by PWE’s Mr. Pink. Swiftly moving on, I’m looking forward to being crowned as the first ever Excellence Champion. There is no better first Champion than “Excellence Evolved” Klayton Kross himself. I’m sure all of you have other ideas but I’m sorry to say, those ideas are just going to have to stay as ideas. I’m happy to sign an autograph for you and allow you all to take pictures with me and my Excellence Championship though because I’m a nice guy you see. KLAYTON KROSS: Moana, such a classic Disney movie. Yes, I’m a geek at heart but a handsome one at that, not one of them brace wearing ones who look like Jaws from James Bond. If The First Victory show was a movie, by the end of it, I’d be standing there with the Excellence Championship raised in the air. Now if it was a movie I know I’ve just gone and spoiled it for everyone. I’m sorry but I’m going to be spoiling a whole lot more than just a movie come the show. I’ll be spoiling your hopes, your dreams and making it reality of “Excellence Evolved” Klayton Kross becoming the first ever Excellence Champion. One last thing… See you all for my crowning as Excellence Champion, I just love saying that. With that done, Klayton gets up from his seat, once up from his seat, he grabs the rest of his glass of water and winks at the camera before walking off as the screen goes static.
