“Sweet, Sweet Victory!”

Against all odds, Chelsea managed to get the win over the fearsome Angel in the Main Event of Victory but the Chicago native couldn’t rest on her laurels just yet because she had another Main Event lined up in front of her, this time against Issak Otto! Issak was a matt wrestler who had started wrestling a few years before Chelsea made her debut, can Chelsea’s (relative) lack of experience over Issak prove to be her undoing or will Chelsea win her second Main Event in a row?

If I had to use one term to describe the past week of my wrestling career, it would be mixed bag.

Let’s start with the positives, I’ve picked up wins in PWE, Level Up and Zion’s BRKTHRU brand, one was a tag team match and the other two matches were singles matches and in the case of the tag team match it was my partner that scored the pin for the team so big deal, right?

Here’s the negatives, after my win on Zion Elijah “biggest dickhead in wrestling” Copeland attacked me with a chair, all because I ruined his coronation the previous week (he had just won the brand’s top title) and left me in a bloody heap, and to make matters worse Nattie was watching the show and called me in tears because Elijah’s actions had upset her so much and I had to assure her that I was okay, whilst I was getting stitches put into my forehead, yay!

I’ll still take that over her seeing how I won my Level Up match, where my team cheated to win! Granted I had nothing to do with Peter Vaughn’s cheating but I at least try to be a positive role model for her when I’m wrestling! And before anyone brings up my porn career, I said when I’m wrestling, somehow I doubt any of the promotions I wrestle for will let me win by bringing my opponent to orgasm!

I mean yeah, there are matches that do end like that! They can be found on PornHub and websites like it!

Anyway, today I’m recording the twenty-minute epic album closer to Krawling Khaos’s fourth album Monarch Divinus entitled “Abdication of the Throne”, I had been trying to put off recording this song because the idea sounded cool on paper but I didn’t realize how much work it’d take until after it was decided that it was definitely going on the album ad tried to get the rest of the album recorded first! Well, we did all that! But we literally can’t put it off any longer.

And there is one other reason why I’m doing it today.

“How did you manage to persuade your sister to let you babysit your nice and nephew on a recording day again?” Julian asked as I started tuning the high e string, yep, Nattie and Jason where in the studio with us because Liz and Mike had last minute commitments, just be glad that it’ll be a cold day in hell before I let them onto a porn set! “They’re good kids and Nattie is downright adorable but an eight-year-old and a seven-year-old sitting in on the recording of a death metal album?”

”It was a last-minute arrangement and I couldn’t pull out of recording Abdication of the Throne to another day after how much we’ve put it off already!” I pointed out with a thrown as the High E String gave me issues, see for the first part of the song we were going with standard tuning and for more of an Obituary style sound before switching to a style more akin to the Swedish Death Metal bands of the 90s like Entombed, early In Flames and At The Gates which meant different tunings and amp settings. ”I’m still not sure how we’re going to pull this off live, switching up the tunings and amp settings is going to be a bi……..” I stopped myself from using the b word because I remembered that my niece could hear us. ”Pain in the butt! And yes, I know it was my idea!”

“I think for the initial support tour we’ll have too coordinate heavily with the stagehands and roadies to make sure it goes off without a hitch.” Trent chimed in as he made sure that the drumkit was up to snuff. “After that? We’ll probably have to play snippets of the song as our set outros, either that or we split it into two songs for the live show.”

”In other words, we’d go with Taylor’s original idea for the album closer.” I responded with a sigh as I finally figured out why the high e string was giving me so much trouble, Taylor felt like he two different styles for the one song idea was, to directly quote her, so impractical that it wasn’t even funny, and had pushed to split them into two different tracks, the rest of the band pushed ahead with the both parts as one song idea and I was regretting going with the majority. ”Next time, I’m just going to listen to my guitar teacher!”

“It is generally a good idea to listen to the person who you’ve paid to teach you how to play the guitar since the band formed last year.” Taylor deadpanned as she entered the studio with some sweets for Nattie and Jason. “What do you kids say?” Taylor asked the kids after they took the sweets.

“Thank you Ms. Taylor!” Nattie thanked my teacher who grinned in response before giving her hair an affectionate ruffle and returning to the rest of the band. “I wish my teachers were as cool as your teacher Aunt Chelsea!”

”She is pretty cool, isn’t she?” I commented with a bit of good-natured sarcasm and Taylor rolled her eyes once she picked up on my sarcasm. ”Especially in the way she made me record my guitar parts first because I posted Five Finger Death Punch lyrics to my wrestling Twitter account!”

“I don’t care if it was in regard to your current rivals Chels, Five Finger Death Punch lyrics as still cringy af!!” Taylor responded as she rolled her eyes again and the two kids just gave us confused looks. “Though I will grant you that the lyrics in question work perfectly within the context of wrestling.”

“What’s a Five Finger Death Punch?” Nattie asked with a confused look on her face and it was at that point that we remembered that there was an eight-year-old girl in the studio with us, autism spectrum or not. “And what did you mean by af?”

”You’ll learn that when you’re older Nattie.” I informed her and that seemed to satisfy my niece’s curiosity for now, on both fronts because Nattie didn’t ask which part. ”Let’s get started on this recording, Nattie, Jason, you kids still have your ear protectors, right?” I asked the kids who held up their ear protection headphones in response. ”Now’s a good time to put them on.” I added and the kids put their headphones on before we started recording.

This was easily the most I’ve recorded with my clothes on, but it was going to be worth it in the end right?

Another week, another Main Event.

”Oh Angel’s so fearsome, Chelsea won’t stand a chance, another easy win for Angel BITCH I proved why I’m one of the best up and coming talents in wrestling when I beat that angel pretender and proved why I’m the only angel that matters in PWE! And next week I’m in another Main Event where I am hoping to continue my momentum.” I stated as I flipped some hair over my shoulder. ”Sure Issak Otto doesn’t have the same reputation as that so called Angel but I’ll kick his ass all the same!”

This will be good.

”Admittedly I don’t know a lot about Issak, I know he’s a matt technician and that he’s had some success in PWE to date, but that success stops here when we clash in the Main Event of Victory XVI!” I stated with a grin on my face as folded my arms. ”And I’ll ensure that this won’t be a Sweet 16 for him, instead it’s going to be a Sweet, Sweet Victory for me! Yes I just referenced SpongeBob SquarePants, what of it? I happen to be in a good mood after my win!”

And that trend will continue.

”It’s simple really, the more I win the happier I am, the more I lose, the angrier I get! And trust me rest of the PWE Locker Room, you won’t like me when I’m angry!” I added before face-palming. ”Did I seriously just go from quoting SpongeBob SquarePants to The Incredible Hulk in the span of five minutes! At least the MCU still puts out quality content! And Issak, when I’m done with you, it’ll be like Fox’s Fantastic 4 movie from 2015 trying to compete with Ant Man! What’s that? What about Avengers: Age of Ultron? Comparing that crap movie to the rest of the MCU is like comparing the other Angel to me!”

There, I said it!

”Just be glad that I haven’t compared any of the recent DC Movies to any of my co-workers because Zack Snyder is a talentless hack and none of the DC Films will ever come close to the Marvel Cinematic Universe! It’s like trying to compare a PWE where I’m not a champion to a PWE where I’m finally holding gold again, it’s just not comparable!” If I were holding a mic right now, I’d drop it but I’m not and I continued. ”Did I let my personal bias as a Marvel fangirl seep through there? No because bias would be implying that I wasn’t telling the truth! But yeah, my end goal is to holy my first title here in PWE and I don’t care who gets in my way of that goal because nothing’s stopping me from achieving it, not Angel and definitely not Issak!”

Go ahead, cry DC fanboys/girls.

”Oh the tears of the DC Fans are so delicious! Sorry that you have such terrible taste in Superhero films! Where was I again? Oh, right, Issak!” Once I got back on track I continued with my promo as I pointed to myself with my index finger. ”I may have had a rocky start but I’m on a roll bitches and no matt technician with two first names is going to stop me! I mean yeah, this is coming from the girl whose name is Chelsea Skye! For those who don’t know, Skye’s a fairly popular girl’s name in England when it’s spelt with a y, but it’s still a better name than Issak Otto!”

It's that simple.

”I don’t mean to brag but after the reputation Angel’s amassed only to lose to little old me? You’ll forgive me for being a little full of myself right now and trust m. it’s only going to get worse after I kick Issak to the curb! You may think that a highflyer like me would be at a disadvantage against a matt technician like Otto but anyone who thinks that is forgetting one fact: I’m just as good on my back as I am on top!” I immediately face-palmed when I realized what I had just said. ”Go ahead, get the porn jokes out of your system, I’m sure there’s about a dozen that’s coming to mind right now! What I meant to say was that I’m just as good at my ground game as I am my aerial game and if I have to trade holds with Issak on my way to a win? SO BE IT!”

And with that I decided to wrap things up.

”Because I will wrap Issak up like I’m wrapping up this promo if that’s what it’ll take to get the win!” I added as I flipped some hair over my shoulder. ”All these wins in the ring on my part are going to mean one thing by the end of 2022, I’m going to a champion again and I don’t care who gets in my way of that goal, it could by Angel, it could be any of the current champions or it could be the bosses themselves, no one will get in my way! Especially not Issak because he had better watch the Skyes Above or learn why the Skyes the Limit for “The Nightmare Angel” Chelsea Skye! I’ll see you in the ring Issak!”

I left the studio as the scene fades.
