There’s a moment of quiet in the ring when suddenly the silence is broken by ‘Shimmy Shimmy Ya’. The crowd cheers as ‘The Comedian’ Allen Chaney emerges in his street clothes with the Excellence Championship over his shoulder. Allen climbs into the ring and takes a microphone, not looking to waste much time since he hasn’t been seen in these parts for quite a bit.
ALLEN CHANEY: I can understand that a lot of you are disappointed. But I promise that not a single one of you is as disappointed as I am.
A pause as the crowd cheers. If they are disappointed then they sure aren’t showing it now.
ALLEN CHANEY: That’s not how that fight was supposed to end and if there’s a dapper suspended dad sitting at home watching this right now… we ain’t fucking done. We may not be able to do it again for a bit but the next time it happens I want to assure everyone here that Damian and I will come armed with lawyers and we will sign whatever paperwork we have to so that when we fight again the fight can not be stopped by medical staff or the referee.
The audience seems to like this idea though management is now probably concerned about the eventual on-screen murder this might eventually lead to.
ALLEN CHANEY: I’m gone for a few shows on doctors orders and look at the fucking state of this place. I apparently Piledrove something loose in Joe Montuori’s brain where he thinks he runs this show and is a ratings god with some kind of imaginary bulletproof contract while this show has had ‘Hashtag WheresAllen?’ trending on twitter every time he and LCP show up on screen. Well guess what? I am medically cleared and I’m itching to beat seven gradient shades of piss out of someone. I’m back, and I dare a heckler to step the fuck up so they can see what I’ve got.
A chuckle and a smirk from Allen.
ALLEN CHANEY: So what HAVE I got? I’ve got this championship but maybe that doesn’t do much for you right now after the way I ended up retaining it and I totally get that. That’s valid. I think the other thing I’ve got is much more interesting. After an injury and some time away from the cameras I’ve got almost TWO MONTHS now of not being able to perform violence without catching court charges and boy oh boy am I backed up which is bad news for a lotta folks. Most obviously that is real bad news for Issak Otto.
Some cheering for Issak.
ALLEN CHANEY: Oh, totally. Hell yeah. Give it up for him. He’s a good dude and he knows what he’s doing in the ring but so long as he is casting his gaze on THIS.
Allen holds up the Excellence Championship.
ALLEN CHANEY: He has a 300-Plus Pound Problem. I’ll be honest guys, life is going pretty well for me. I make a decent living, I have a hot girlfriend, I’ve never had more clarity and support in my life….but that hasn’t done anything to get rid of this chip on my shoulder. This chip on my shoulder is the key to my success as a champion and it’s also my fucking curse. That chip means that even when I shouldn’t have anything to prove to anyone that I still fight like I do and if you’re new here and you haven’t seen Allen Chaney fighting like he has something to prove then you’re in for a fuckin treat.
Allen slings the title over his shoulder once more.
ALLEN CHANEY: Because if you don’t care about this company and this championship the way I do then you are wasting your time stepping up to me. I almost died for what this belt represents and you can bet your bottom dollar as I advance through the World Series of Wrestling that I’m coming to the finals flying a flag reading ‘PRO WRESTLING EXCELLENCE’
Allen mimics waving an actual flag.
ALLEN CHANEY: Some people consider Damian Ayla the Father of PWE. Yeah well I’m sorry to say it but your REAL dad has left you TWICE now, PWE so you’re stuck with me…but I’m more than just a Step Dad, I’m the Dad who stepped up. I’m here because I want to be and I’ll put in the work to earn your respect, not just demand it. I’ll fling my fat ass off fifty more buildings if that’s what it takes for the world to acknowledge EXCELLENCE as more than just a name. Setup. Punchline.
Allen drops the microphone and his music hits once more, Allen posing with the title as we head to commercial.
Poison vy Venom hits as Jurgen Kaiser makes his way from the back and starts his way down to the ring for his match. But as he gets close to the ring he is hit from behind by Angel and the Victory title belt!. Jurgen goes down and Angel throws her title to the ground and grabs Jurgen throwing him into the steel ring steps.
GREYSON MARKS: Wait..WHAT THE HELL??
LINCOLN PHELPS: Angel is getting this match started fast!
GREYSON MARKS: This isn't really a start though this is a mugging!
Angel takes Jurgen from the steps to the barricade throwing him into that too before slamming him facfe first into the apron and then into the ring post, Jurgen looks out of it and Angel then reaches over grabbing the ring bell hammer!. Jurgen turns and gets blasted with it and goes down. Angel then, very politely, hands the hammer back to the time keeper before pulling a barely conscious Jurgen back up and rolling him into the ring. Angel slides in and tells the referee to call for the bell. The referee refuses. Angel shakes her head and gets closer, speaking in almost a whisper as the referee turns pale and swallows hard before backing up and calling for the bell to...start the match
DING DING DING!
GREYSON MARKS: And the match starts...I guess?
LINCOLN PHELPS: I wonder what Angel said to that referee, he was adamant this wasn't going to happen then he turned pale as a ghost...
GREYSON MARKS: I don't think we actually want to know Linc...
Jurgen doesn't look like he knows where he is after that attack, blood falling from his forehead as he looks up at Angel. He stays on his knees as she tilts her head and leans down slowly and drops to one knee in front of Jurgen, running her hands over his face before looking at the blood in her plams, she simply smiles and turns on her heels hitting the ropes as fast as she can and blasts Jurgen with the GO TO HELL kick right to his face. Jurgen goes down and Angel drops down for the cover.

LINCOLN PHELPS: That was...sickening...
GREYSON MARKS: I agree...but Angel picks up yet another win here...
LINCOLN PHELPS: I hope Lachlan Kane was watching that...
GREYSON MARKS: That is his future...
NINA LAWRENCE: Here is your winner...the Pro Wrestling Excellence Victory Champion....Angel...
We cut backstage to find Charlie Jones, dressed in a black suit, her long hair tied back as she slowly smiles.
CHARLIE JONES: As you all know, we have been putting together something special as we go into Magnificence. See, at Pro Wrestling Excellence we are all about opportunity. And what better way to do that than to give athletes and wrestlers an opportinity to call their shot?
She pauses and shrugs before continuing.
CHARLIE JONES: So Ophelia and I decided to hold an eight person tournament, the winner gets to literally, call their shot. Whoever wins can book themselves in a championship match of their choosing. Whether that be the Victory championship, the Impulse Championship or indeed, the Excellence championship. And to keep it fair we opened it up to four competitors in our company...and four from outside...
The crowd pops at the thought of some "new blood" in PWE as well as older favorites getting opportunities.
CHARLIE JONES: The tournament starts in two weeks at Victory 17, The semi finals taking place two weeks after that at Victory 18 with the final being a featured match at our up coming Pay Per View, Magnificence. The four outside competitors are, J.D Fontaine, The Sophie Channel, Glum and Erik Holland....we welcome these four stars into the PWE family and hope they enjoy their stay to compete for as long or as little as they are here and we are sure our fans will enjoy your work...now, the four from within PWE...the dangerous..Enigma...the amazingly talented Savannah Sunshine, and returning from a small Hiatus MALADI as well as for-
LEWIS CHAD PINKSTON: UTTUTUT hold up man hands...
The crowd cheers and boos as Lewis Chad Pinkston interrupts Charlie Jones, a small smirk on his face.
LEWIS CHAD PINKSTON: I got this one sweet cheeks..take a powder....And the final competitor in the tournament, the man who was screwed on Taras little cruise, the man who single handedly made the Impulse title matter again after what happened last season, the man who took Allen Chaney to his limits and made damn sure Dane Preston failed...again.....THE LIVING GODDAMN LEGEND...Joe Montuori.....
LCP turns and winks at a very very pissed of Charlie as we cut back to the ring
NINA LAWRENCE: The following match is our MAIN EVENT of the evening. Introducing first...
The fast guitar riff for “Reborn Through Failure” hits the speakers and once the vocals kick in Chelsea makes her way out onto the entrance ramp ready for battle.
NINA LAWRENCE: Introducing first, from Chicago. Illinois, she is the “Nightmare Angel” Chelsea Skye!
Following her ring introduction Chelsea makes her way down to the ring slapping hands with the occasional fan along the way, she enters the ring and runs the ropes as she waits for her opponent.
"GO...GO...NOTHING CAN STOP ME, I'M ALL THE WAY UP!"
The beginning horns of "All the Way Up" by Fat Joe ring through the speakers in the arena, and the audience already know what's coming even before the lyrics stop. Right after the first line, the bass kicks in and the crowd erupts! They get even louder as the "Class Act" Issak Otto walks out from behind the black curtain with a huge smile on his face, bobbing along to his theme song, of which he's always liked. He stops at the top of the ramp and gives a strong 'hero' pose, taking in the cheers from the PWE fans. Issak continues down the ramp with pep in his step, sliding in under the bottom rope of the ring. He gets to his feet quickly, rushing over to one side of the ring and leaning into the ropes, a hand in the air and hyping up the crowd even moreso. He does the same to the other side before turning into his corner.
NINA LAWRENCE: Now in the ring, standing six foot tall and weighing in at 210 pounds....ISSAK OTTTO
DING DING DING!
The two competitors circle around one another, moving closer to the center of the ring, they lock up right away, Issak ducks down in a double leg, taking down and grounding the Nightmare angel right away. Issak holds Chelsea down, takes side control and starts to grab Chelseas arm, but Chelsea moves her hips and rolls over her shoulder back to her feet getting some distance from the talented grappler. She hits the ropes, Issak goes for a lariat, Chelsea ducks under it and leaps up, bouncing off the middle rope and throwing her body around and kicking her legs out hitting a dropkick right to Ottos chest. Otto goes down but pops back up, Chelsea tries to keep more distance between them and runs up, jumping and wrapping her legs around Issaks head hitting a hurricanrana. Issak slides from the ring to the floor after the move, Chelsea hits the ropes and throws herself from the ring with a suicide dive.
GREYSON MARKS: Chelsea knows what she has to do here, she needs to stay out of Issak clutches, he already took her down once and if he is able to throw her around or lock in a submission she might be done for
LINCOLN PHELPS: Chelsea is an excellent competitor but you're right, Issak is built different
Chelsea moves around the side of the ring and waits for Issak to get up, as he does Chelsea runs and jumps off the steel ring steps with a flying crossbody down onto Issak again before then pulling him up and throwing him into the ring, she then jumps onto the apron and grabs the top rope she jumps up and leaps off with the springboard x factor she calls the Angels reckoning. Chelsea can't believe she hit it and quickly rolls Issak over hooking the outside leg for a pin.

Issak kicks out. Chelsea realises she has to strike hard and fast, Chelsea starts to climb to the top rope, she then flips back and around going for her Phoenix splash. Issak rolls out of the way and Chelsea crashes and burns hitting bthe mat hard. Issak is able to oull himself up and he walks over, he reaches down and deadlifts chelsea off the mat with a german suplex, hitting one before rolling over and hitting and second, then a third and this time bridging up holding Chelsea down for a pin.

Chelsea gets her shoulder up.
GREYSON MARKS: There it is, Issak got his hands on her after one high risk move fell flat
LINCOLN PHELPS: That is why they call it high risk, but it's also high reward.
GREYSON MARKS: It's the kind of thing Chelsea is known for.
Issak pulls Chelsea up, backs her into the ropes and whips her across the ring, he then turns to the side and goes for a hip toss, Chelsea jumps and front flips landing on her feet before hitting a dropkick. Issak goes down and as he pops back up Chelsea has a second one and then a third, Issak stumbles back into the corner, Chelsea runs up and jumps going for a minkey flip, but Issak blocks it and turns sitting Chelsea on the top turnbuckle. Issak then grabs Chelsea by the leg and pulls her back out and across his knee with a backbreaker. Chelsea holds her back and Issak pops up and grabs her leg and locks in a single leg boston crab. Chelsea screams in pain and scrambles to the ropes as fast as she can hooking her arm around the bottom rope. The referee calls for the break and Issak obliges right away before backing up into the center of the ring waiting for Chelsea to get back up as she keeps her hand on the ropes.
LINCOLN PHELPS: Man Issak had that hold locked in tight.
GREYSON MARKS: But Chelsea was able to get to those topes fast toi mitigate the damage.
Chelsea steps away from the ropes and Issak right away slides in and ducks down going for a single leg takedown, Chelsea steps back and Issak picks her ankle and stands up holding her leg but Chelsea jumps up and kicks Issak with a enzuguri sending Issak back, Chelsea pops up and runs hitting her Slingblade that she calls the for justin, Issak goes down and Chelsea looks to the corner climbing up and measuring Issak, she leaps of for the DOWN FROM THE SKYE!. She lands on Issak and hooks his leg.

Issak kicks out. Chelsea transitions into a cross armbar. Issak is caught off guard as Chelsea wrenches it in and is in between Issak and the ropes. Issak though rolls his legs and his hips behind able to stack Chelsea up and then move around and pick Chelsea up in the air with one arm and slam her down with a powerbomb. Chelsea releases the hold and Issak shakes out his arm. Chelsea starts to pull herself up and Issak attacks, reaching out and grabbing Chelseas arm, he hits a wristlock takedown and then another and another completing the roll of friendship locking in a hammerlock DDT dropping Chelsea on her head, he rolls Chelsea over and pins.

Chelsea kicks out and the fans can't believe it.
LINCOLN PHELPS: That was so close, Chelsea just refuses to quit
GREYSON MARKS: She is doing everything she can to stay in this...
Issak gets to his feet and pulls Chelsea up by her wrist, he goes for the Class Ax but Chelsea ducks it at the last moment hitting the ropes, Issak turns around and gets blasted with a spear!. Chelsea is up and riling up the crowd, she taps her foot and calls for Issak, she goes for a superkick, Issak catches Chelseas foot and uses her leg like he would her wrist pulling Chelsea into a modified class ax!. He pins.

GREYSON MARKS: Good god what a shot! Issak did it but Chelsea put up such a fight
NINA LAWRENCE: Here is your winner...ISSAK OTTTTOOO
Issak pulls himself up and looks down at Chelsea giving her a nod of respect as the PWE traemark logo appears to close out Victory 16
