"Good afternoon, my lovely friends! Please take your seats as the ride will begin soon. Keep all hands, feet, and appendages inside the boat at all times. I do not want to have to turn this boat around!" As the view fades in, we see none other than Savannah Sunshine dressed in a Skipper uniform. She's wearing a bright smile and bodies begin to board the boat. "Come on over, folks! Move in closer and closer and closer and STOP!" She tosses both hands outwards, almost touching the person to her right. A little girl who looks no older than six years old.
"Didn't your parents ever teach you about stranger danger, kid?" She pokes the tip of the girls nose, which elicits a giggle from the freckled girl. The mere sound warms Savannah to the core and she does a quick check as a Cast Member to the back of the boat gives a thumbs up. “Once I hear those three magic words, we are clear for take off!” Savannah glances towards the docking station, where a Cast Member grins and yells out “Hit it, Skip!” and the boat begins to move a moment later. Everyone claps and cheers and Savannah’s smile is infectious as she stands at the front of the boat.
“As a quick introduction, I’m Skipper Savannah and I will be in charge of this lovely crew today. I’m also a professional wrestler and this is my first time doing something like this, so!” She claps her hands together momentarily and everyone laughs. “I will be your Skipper for the next fourteen days and thirteen nights. Children, please supervise your parents and parents?” Savannah pauses briefly before shrugging. “Supervise yourselves!” Laughter fills the air as the boat continues to move along and Savannah gives a giggle herself.
“From here on out, you will never return, so say goodbye to everyone on the docks.” Savannah waves and waves until they finally turn a corner and she points out their first location to her right. “To my right, you will see The Temple of the Forbidden Eye, where Indiana Jones searches for lost treasure. But, if you are looking for lost treasure, then look no further!” Savannah waves a hand towards herself. “I am right here.” There’s laughter as the ride continues.
“Right now, we are passing through an ancient Cambodian shrine. Where you can see a Bengal Tiger to our left, it can grow to be up to five hundred pounds. It can also jump three feet, which we’re all super lucky because we are at least twenty feet away. The same cannot be said for my opponents who I will be facing on October 3rd. Which is super unfortunate for them because mama is hungry for a win.” The crew giggle and some cheer as Savannah soaks it up for a brief moment. “Oh, I didn’t mention that did I? Make sure you guys come around on October 3rd to PWE’s excellent show, Rebirth! Live from The Magic Kingdom, where I will be in a Four-way against Jurgen Kaiser, Emily Williams, and Michelle Riggs.” The crowd give some cheers as the ride continues along. Savannah clearly enjoying herself as she smiles brightly.
After the ride is complete, Savannah thanks everyone for joining her and steps off of the boat with the rest of the guests. She makes her way to a secluded area, waving goodbye to some cast members before she settles down under a shady tree. Blocking out the sun rays as she sighs softly, this time pulling out her cellphone as it records her. A smile crosses her face as she gives a little salute. “Hello, PWE crew~ In case you’re wondering about the super neat-o costume, I got to spend the day as a guest skipper here on the Jungle Cruise. Yes, that Jungle Cruise.” She flashes a bright grin and waves a hand towards where her phones camera shows off the queue for the Jungle Cruise. “One of the best rides in the world and funniest. Did you know so many people said I would make a great comedian?”
She sighs wistfully, shaking her head as she glances back at the camera. “Anyway, I’m not a comedian nor do I plan on changing my career path. For me, it’s wrestling any chance I get and making sure everyone knows exactly who Savannah Sunshine is. It’s what I do each and every single time I hit the ring and this time?” She holds up four fingers on her opposite hand. “I have to do it against four people which would be hard for others. But, I’m kinda used to multi person matches by now. So, guess you could say I’m an expert.” She waves her hands around, setting her phone up against the trunk of the tree. She scoots back enough until there’s a good and clear view of the background behind her. The queue and background of the entrance to Jungle Cruise showing clear behind her. Her day had been full of laughter and fun, something she could hardly put into words or describe.
“Not that I’m discrediting my opponents. I’m sure they’re just as capable of winning as I am. But, by hook or by crook, I’m going out there and I’m making sure I leave an impression. Whether it’s my boot print on faces or making sure limbs are broken down. I haven’t made a very good impression so far around here. But, I intend on ensuring that everyone gets a clear reminder of why Savannah Sunshine can hang with some of the best around.” She snaps her fingers, a clear look of enthusiasm on her face. “Plus, we’re at the happiest place on Earth! How could you ever be disappointed in a place like this?” She waves her hands and arms around above her head, clearly excited about the fact that she was getting to spend time at one of her favorite amusement parks. “I mean, come on! How can anyone, and I mean, anyone not love it here?” She jumps to her feet, twirling around in pure delight.
“Plus, who wouldn’t want to wrestle at such a fun place huh? Think of all the possibilities, the fans, oh!” She gasps, hands covering her mouth before a delighted squeal spills from her lips. “Oh, all of the fans! I can just see it now, they’re going to absolutely love it here. I mean, they’re going to have so much fun and get to watch us wrestle!” Her hands clasp together happily, a little jump of pure delight as she squeals with excitement. “I just cannot wait to show everyone all of my super cool new moves and exactly what I am capable of. You see, I haven’t always had the best of luck. But, rest assured, I stopped caring about wins and losses a long time ago. I really only care about making sure I try my best and that the fans are entertained. So, at the end of the day, I just go out there and I try my best each and every single time I hit the ring.”
“Today, I got to live out my dream of being a Skipper and if I try hard enough… I’ll get to live out my dream of being a champion again. With meaning this time.” She sighs softly, shaking her head as she paces around a bit. “I want to be one of the very best around. Which means I have to keep trying my hardest and no matter what, I can’t let myself get distracted and you can believe me when I say I’m going to do everything in my power to try to win and come out victorious. I mean, winning against three other people has to count for something. There is always a happily ever after for someone at the end of things like this and with enough faith and trust and talent? I can get very, very far if I try my hardest.” She nods firmly, glancing at the camera as she claps her hands together. It’s clear she’s all riled up and focused on making sure she stays on task.
“At the end of the day, what matters most to me is making sure everyone has a good idea of what to expect from me. My opponents? They can expect boots to faces and limbs to be sore at the end of the night. I recommend a healthy dose of ice cream, a nice ice bath, and lots of ice packs because they’re going to need ‘em.” With that, she gives a little tip of her hat before grinning brightly. “Hope to see you all at Rebirth. Can’t wait.” She waves, before jogging over to pick up her cellphone. The final view of her face before the scene fades to black.
