The quiet beginning of “Blood//Water” by grandson begins playing through the speakers as Malachi enters the arena to a decidedly mixed reaction, though the boos slightly edge out the cheers. He simply stares around at the crowd with a look of indifference on his face as he walks down the ramp towards the ring, climbing the steps and entering through the ropes. He climbs the turnbuckle and throws his arms to the side while staring out at the crowd again as his music fades away.

BIOGRAPHY
The middle child of the O’Connell family, Malachi was the “wild child” out of the three, always up to mischief and mayhem. After the death of their father when Malachi was only ten years old, his personality changed. He became angry and aggressive, lashing out at school and becoming known for his bad temper. Both he and Lachlan started training in wrestling at the same time, and even wrestled as a tag team across Ireland and the UK. When Lachlan left to wrestle in Japan, Malachi felt that he had abandoned the family and developed a deep resentment towards his older brother. After surprising Lachlan with an appearance in SCW (and subsequently costing him an opportunity at the World title), the brothers fell into a bitter rivalry that culminated in a vicious cage match, which saw Lachlan emerge victorious. Much to everyone’s surprise, Malachi hugged his brother after the match, bringing the feud to a close.
Shortly afterwards, he picked up his biggest win in his American career when he became the PWS World Champion after defeating Daniel Russow and then-champion Alexis Makarios in a Steel Cage match.
He also began teaming with his then-girlfriend Bella Madison in SCW off and on, with the couple even capturing the SCW Mixed Tag Team Championships. More recently, the couple have now become two-time tag champions, having won the PWS Tag Team belts before losing them in a hard-fought match to Antithesis.
