She gazes into the mirror within the locker room, alone for the moment, locked into a staring contest with herself. Her palms are flat on the counter, but a scraping sound is noticeable when her fingers curl into fists again. Perhaps her conversation with William Blake Mason is still on her mind. Or perhaps her mind is taking a violent turn as the Boardwalk Brawl looms closer. There is no one around to ask, and with good reason. A door opens and closes in the background and rather than turn around, Zoey shifts her gaze in the mirror to see who it is. Her expression shifts, or rather twitches a little, as she turns in time with the camera to see Farrah Cornett standing in front of the now-closed door.
GREYSON MARKS: Zoey’s best friend and fellow Boardwalk Angel… the woman she earned her Hall of Fame ring and record-setting World Tag Team Title reign alongside. I’m not sure what to make of this, Lincoln.
LINCOLN PHELPS: Yeah, me either. Last I heard, Zoey was cranky with Farrah for calling her out on attacking people.
GREYSON MARKS: Which it was shown that Zoey did not.
LINCOLN PHELPS: Yeah, yeah. Point is, Farrah thought she did, too. What would YOU feel if YOUR bestie called you out like that?
The aptly-nicknamed Jersey Hellcat is, much like her former partner, wearing the baby blue Boardwalk Angels tee, though she’s wearing it in the standard fashion over black jeans and boots, beneath a black leather jacket. Her own dark brown hair hangs loose over her shoulders, her dangerously-piercing stare softened somewhat as she looks upon Zoey.
And it isn’t so much the body language that tells a story here, but the silence; for the first time in so many years, these two aren’t leaping into a monstrous hug with one another. And for the first time in, like, ever? Farrah is the one who’s tentative… and Zoey is the one who looks aggressive.
FARRAH CORNETT: Hey… twins, eh?
Farrah gestures to her shirt and Zoey’s affecting a bit of a smile. Zoey, briefly, looks between herself and her friend… but does not smile back. This causes Farrah’s to fade.
FARRAH CORNETT: Look, I didn’t come here to fight. I came to apologize.
ZOEY MADIGAN-STAR: You could have done that with a phone call. Why come all this way just for that?
FARRAH CORNETT: I need a reason to see my friend?
Folding her arms across her chest, Zoey turns away and stares at the wall, seemingly fighting to regain her composure. After a long pause, Farrah breaks the silence again.
FARRAH CORNETT: Fine. I wanted to see how you were after what went down. And I wanted to apologize. Something I wouldn’t have to do in the first place if I hadn’t been stupid… but stupid is going around these days. I’m shocked the world hasn’t broken out in a collective rash. Much bigger deal than COVID.
Humor isn’t working, either. Zoey closes her eyes for several moments, then opens them, finally looking directly at Farrah again.
ZOEY MADIGAN-STAR: Apology accepted.
FARRAH CORNETT: Please, you spoil me.
ZOEY MADIGAN-STAR: Why don’t you tell me what you’re really doing here, Farrah? I haven’t heard from you in weeks.
FARRAH CORNETT: Why don’t YOU tell me what YOU want from ME?! Jesus Christ, Zee! I see what you’ve been saying and doing and it’s like I’m looking at a stranger! What the hell?!
ZOEY MADIGAN-STAR: …you’re seriously going to stand there and ask me that? You claim to have been watching and listening and you still claim ignorance? Farrah, you know me better than anyone else on the planet that’s still alive. Don’t play stupid here. You know what this is.
Her voice is almost TOO soft, but every word is audible. Farrah takes a few steps toward Zoey, looking at her hard from head to toe. She gives it a few moments before she responds.
FARRAH CORNETT: Yeah, I do. And it’s bullshit.
Now Farrah is nose-to-nose with Zoey, and the close proximity has given rise to considerable discomfort in the Sorceress Supreme.
GREYSON MARKS: Farrah really isn’t taking it easy, is she?
LINCOLN PHELPS: Hey, maybe she has a point. Zoey IS kinda being a brat, wouldn’t you say?
GREYSON MARKS: After what she’s been through I’d say she’s got a reason to be out of sorts.
LINCOLN PHELPS: That’s what she needs: more excuses.
The tension is starting to reach another level, to the point that even the Dallas fans are rumbling a bit.
FARRAH CORNETT: I’ll tell you exactly what I see: I see the whining, pitiful coward that you were once upon a time. The one who hid in the bathroom for over an hour after the final bell before leaving school because she was afraid of a fight. The one who put her head down rather than face up to her tormentors and at least give them a reason to back off a little. The one who, if it weren’t for me, wouldn’t be half the woman that she is now. And it makes me SICK, Zee. Enough that I might puke on those $250 boots of yours right here and now.
She looks down for a moment, then back up at Zoey, demanding that their eyes meet. And Zoey is staring right back, her expression a question mark, figuratively speaking.
FARRAH CORNETT: So tell me… right here, right now: was everything that I did for you for nothing? Have you forgotten everything that I taught you about being a real woman so easily blasted away by some bitch who knows less than nothing about real pain? Tell me, even if it’s a goddamn lie, that that isn’t the case. Look me in the eye and tell me that you’re still Zoey Madigan-Star.
ZOEY MADIGAN-STAR: Congratulations for making this all about you in record time.
A dark brow elevates on Farrah’s face.
ZOEY MADIGAN-STAR: Now leave me alone.
FARRAH CORNETT: Ex-fucking-scuse me?!
ZOEY MADIGAN-STAR: Go back to your family and your high-rise office, Farrah. Go back to your happy, normal life and leave the real world to me. I don’t need you or anyone else trying to lay guilt on me or telling me I’m wrong for how I feel-
WHACK!
Farrah hauls off and slaps the taste straight out of Zoey’s mouth, likely landing it against the wall, or perhaps one of the lockers. There’s no holding back in it, either… or in the tears in Farrah’s eyes as she lowers her shaking arm. Zoey, turned aside by the blow, comes up with a nasty red mark on her left cheek. She blinks, reaching up to touch it, then closes her hand into a fist. Farrah, to her credit, steels herself and prepares for the punch that should most certainly be coming…
…except it doesn’t.
LINCOLN PHELPS: They heard that one in the cheap seats, Greyson.
GREYSON MARKS: And Zoey’s just… walking away?
Exactly that. Zoey exhales and walks past Farrah and out of the locker room, leaving her perhaps former friend standing there, shaking and wrapping her arms around herself in a futile effort to stop it.
HEADLINER / SEMI-MAIN EVENT
SINGLES MATCH
ALLEN CHANEY vs VINCENT BLACK
NINA LAWRENCE: The following match is our HEADLINER...introducing first....
"Aw fuck you can't even sing. Ya gotta sing to get some pussy.'
The opening of 'Shimmy Shimmy Ya' plays and after the quote from Richard Pryor 'The Comedian' emerges from gorilla, he looks around the arena a bit before walking to the ring with a spring in his step and an insufferable smirk on his face. He climbs up on the apron and motions to the ref to come over to him. He says something to the ref we can't hear over the music. The ref responds and Allen rolls his eyes and dismisses what the ref has to say with a wanking motion before entering through the middle and top ropes and having a bit of a stretch and throwing a few punches at the air before his music dies down.
NINA LAWRENCE: He stands 6'4 and weighed in at 315 pounds, from Kansas City...he is the WINNER of the 2021 OLLA RUMBLE...THE COMEDIAN...ALLLEN CHANEY
"LET ME SEE THOSE HANDS UP!!!”
Hands up by NF hits, Vincent Black steps out from the back and makes his way to the ring slowly, keeping his eyes in the ring on Allen Chaney the whole time. He gets to the ring and walks up the steel ring steps before standing on the apron. He tilts his head and as he gets into the ring Allen nods his head ready for ther fight.
NINA LAWRENCE: And his opponent, standing 6'5 and weighing in at 290 pounds, from parts unknown....VINCENT BLACK!
GREYSON MARKS: Here we go, Allen Chaney the number one contender for the Excellence championship, one on one with Vincent Black...
LINCOLN PHELPS: Aye the husband of our Excellence champion!.....what a tangled web we weave eh?
GREYSON MARKS: Tangled web? or interesting booking decisions?
DING DING DING!
The bell rings to start the match, Allen and Vincent stare across the ring at one another pacing and eyeing each other off like two dogs who have been staring at each other from behind a fence for a little too long. Both men are of a similar height, but while Vincent is in shape and heavily tattooed Allen Chaney looks like. Well Allen Chaney. They come together in the ring, Allen reminds Vincent it's not him who he needs to beat, it's his wife. Vincent just smirks and shakes his head, but before he can answer back Allen headbutts Vincent in the face. Vincent stumbles back and Allen goes right on the attack with hard right hands backing the tattooed prince back into the corner, Vincent tries to cover up but Allen hits some hard right again and then grabs the top rope before stomping Vincent down into the corner. Hs puts his foot on Vincents chest and pushes hard before the referee reaches four on his count. Allen backs up and puts his hands up, Vincent shakes his head and grabs the top rope to pull himself right to his feet. Allen and Vincent meet closer in the center and Vincent hits a vicious right hand, Allen blasts him back and this devolves into a fist fight. But Vincent steps back and sparta kicks Allen in the chest, Allen stumbles back and Vincent goes for a clothesline over the top rope, Allen though uses his impressive speed for a man his size...and shape...allowing him to duck under the turn before taking both him and Vincent over the top rope to the floor with a cactus clothesline!
GREYSON MARKS: What a brutal hard hitting start to this match.
LINCOLN PHELPS: Mate I knew this wansn' gonna be a mat classic...these two are just going to beat ten shades a shit outta one another an I'm here for it...
GREYSOM MARKS: You know Vhodka is watching this, not just to support Vincent but also to scout Allen...
LINCOLN PHELPS: What's to scout? he's a big guy who can fly and throw hands...
GREYSON MARKS: Your power to make things oversimplified never ceases to amaze me Lincoln...
LINCOLN PHELPS: Aww thanks mate, you're pretty amazing too...
On the outside of the ring Allen grabs Vincent and runs him face first into the steel steps, he goes to do it again but Vincent plants his foot against the steel bnefore turning and reversing it throwing Allen into the steps with such force Allen flies over them and splats on the floor over the other side. The refere ebegins the ten count but Allen and Vincent don't seem to care, Vincent grabs Allen up and throws him into the barricade, Allen flips and lands on the top of his head. Vincent gtabs the barricade and stomps him down over and over again. Vincent looks up at the referee and slides in and out of the ring to break the count at 8. He pulls Allen up and whips him towards the other steel steps, Allen though jumps up and over them this time, Vincent raises his eyebrows as Allen lands and turns on his heels with a laugh and a nod to the crowd. The referee reaches 8 again and Allen turns his head pointing at the referee as they count 9, instead of count9ing 10, they keep their hand up. Allen and Vincent slide back in the ring and Vincent runs at Allen going for the bullet with a name!, Allen though ducks the punch and instead dumps Vincent back out of the ring, he then hits the ropes and flies out of the ring ontop of Vincent with a tope con hilo!. The crowd goes nuts as we see a replay of that move from multiple angles
LINCOLN PHELPS: Allen Chaney is insane, how can a block that big do a flip that high?
GREYSON MARKS: When you have little to no regard for your own wellbeing it comes natural...
Allen ulls Vincent up rolling him into the ring, he slides in and crawls over right intop a cover.

Vincent kicks out. Allen shrugs and grabs Vincent hitting him with hard right hands over and over again before looking over to the corner, he nods and moves over to it grabbing the top turnbuckle and climbing. He gets to the top and flies backward going for his moonsault, but Vincent rolls out of the way causing Allen to hit hard on the mat. Allen holds his stomach as he stays on his knees, winded from the impact. Vincent meausres Allen up and starts to hit hard rights and lefts with the comboi he calls the PHRQ out!. Allen takes each punch over and over again before Vincent hits a hard right across Allens jaw thazt causes the number one contender to comically face plant the maty. Vincent rolls him over and hooks Allens leg.
ONE

Allen kicks out. Vincent stays on him not wasting any motion as he gets to his feet and pulls Allen up with him, he headbutts Allen a few times and backs him into the corner before pisking Allen up on his shoulders and carrying him into the middle of the ring showing incredible strength before hitting The Void right down onto the back of Allens head. Vincent hooks Allens leg and goes for another pin.
ONE
TWO
Allen kicks out again. Vincent now starts to show a little frustration shaking his head as he looks down at Allen who is glassy eyed but somehow still in this.
GREYSON MARKS: Vincent Black is doing everything he can to keep Allen Chaney down...
LINCOLN PHELPS: C'mon Vinnie boi do it for your boo thang...
GREYSON MARKS: I thought you liked Allen Chaney...
LINCOLN PHELPS: Nah...he got that goddamn song stuck in me head for months...
Vincent nods understanding what he has to do, he calls for the Black out and pulls Allen up, but as he goes to turn Allen around for it Allen blocks it and hooks his arm around Vincents leg before picking him up and crashing him down in a flapjack. Allen pops up and blasts Vincent with a superkick sending him down, he then runs and hits a corner slingshot splash known more as the Vader bomb landing on Vincent hard, Vincent holds his ribs and Allen shakes his head knowing uit wouldn't be enough to keep Vincent down. He Gets to his feet and hits the ropes before jumping up high and hitting the running senton MAKIN PANCAKES. Allen laughs and looks right in the camera with a shrug before sliding back to the corner, Vincent rolls over and starts to get up, as he gets on all fours Allen looks around, the crowd all starting to stand knowing what he is going for, he runs and goes for the curb stomp he calls the Heckler control, but Vincent slides back at the last second and Allen stomps the mat, he jumps and holds his knee as he jars it, Vincent then slides forward and hits a chop block right to the back of Allens knee taking him down. Allen goes down and Vincent grabs his leg and starts dropping elbows onto it before pulling Allens knee between his legs and rubbing the tip of his elbow right into the inner joint of Allens knee.
GREYSON MARKS: OH NO, this could be devastating, Allen hurt his knee
LINCOLN PHLEPS: And Vincent is takin advantage of it...
Vincent twists Allens leg before getting to his feet and kicking the back of his knee. Allen holds his leg and groans in pain. Vincent shakes his head, but Allen uses his feet leg to kick at Vincent sending him back, Allen grits his teeth and gets to his feet before hitting a side knee to Vincents stomach, he doubles Vincent over and winces as he put all the pressure on his bd wheel. Allen goes for a swinging neckbreaker but Vincent spins with it before grabbing Allen by the face and head lifting him up for the Black hand!. Allen hits the mat hard and Vincent shakes his head looking down at Allen. He backs up and calls for the running haymarker again, knowing he needs to pull out all the stops to beat Allen. Vincent runs in but Allen pulls the referee over in front of him, Vincent stops at the last second, Allen smirks and shoves the referee away before kicking Vincent right between the legs!. Vincent drops right to his knees holding his nethers before going on all fours. Allen hits the ropes and stomps Vincent with thw Heckler control!...he covers.

NINA LAWRENCE: Here is your winner!...ALLEN CHANEY!
GREYSON MARKS: It damn sure wasn't pretty but Allen Chaney got the job done!
LINCOLN PHELPS: I really hope Vhodka wasn't hopin on gettin lucky tonight...
MAIN EVENT
BOARDWALK BRAWL
XARIA LINNETTE vs ZOEY MADIGAN-STAR
Cameras are already prepared at Gorilla, waiting for the start of the Boardwalk Brawl. Xaria Linette seems to be the first to arrive, and her body language screams reluctance. Her head is down and her pace is grudging and slow. She wanders more than walks toward the curtain yet… she stops. She looks up and blinks, then takes a step back. The camera pans around to show Zoey Madigan-Star already standing at the curtain, her back to Xaria, arms folded. Despite the posture and direction, Zoey clearly knows that Xaria is there.
LINCOLN PHELPS: Xaria’s lookin’ like a woman walking to her own execution.
GREYSON MARKS: Would you want to face someone you vilified like she did? Zoey definitely overreacted to the situation and could have handled things better-
LINCOLN PHELPS: Oh, wow, ya think?
GREYSON MARKS: -but both were in the wrong in their own way. I think only a fool could believe otherwise.
LINCOLN PHELPS: Zoey just keeps stacking up the wrongs tonight, Greyson. We’re seeing her for what she really is now.
To her credit, Xaria does not turn or run; no, she stands before Zoey with her arms spread as though she were some sort of sacrifice. In essence, she gives herself over to whatever punishment, whatever pain, Zoey has in mind for her. But when Zoey turns to see this, it only makes her angrier. Her fingers curl and release several times yet she cannot seem to find it in herself to take that first strike. The referee, having hustled from the ring when it became clear that the fight wasn’t starting there, calls for the match to start… but both women just stand there.
It comes down to who will give in first… whether Xaria will find the fire to defend herself or whether Zoey’s fury will overtake her lingering desire to not be a monster. The Sorceress Supreme storms right up to Xaria, getting in her face and saying something the camera does not pick up on. The Rainbow Angel, not responding, merely tilts her head back and closes her eyes. In truth, she refuses to fight back. To the unaware, it looks more like a dare for Zoey to take that first shot… which she does with a hard knee to the midsection of Xaria!
GREYSON MARKS: And here we go!
LINCOLN PHELPS: For those of you that don’t pay attention, this is a come-as-you-are, falls-count-anywhere street fight! These two ladies can go anywhere and do anything in this match with no consequences!
GREYSON MARKS: Okay, not exactly that easy-
LINCOLN PHELPS: No consequences!
Xaria doubles-up from the air being forced out of her lungs and Zoey keeps up the assault, grabbing her by the hair and yanking her down to the floor hard. Standing over Xaria, Zoey reaches down and grabs her by the collar with both hands, shaking her while yelling in her face:
ZOEY MADIGAN-STAR: Fight me!
Coughing, Xaria refuses silently and Zoey, in anger, drops to a knee and mounts the Rainbow Angel, firing off a few forearm shots to the jaw with her right arm while her left has a handful of Xaria’s red hair! The blows rock Xaria but she still refuses to strike back even when given the opportunity. Zoey yanks her to her feet and shoves her against the wall once, twice… yelling at her a second time.
ZOEY MADIGAN-STAR: FIGHT ME!
In response, Xaria shakes her head. Zoey’s anger only elevates at this as she kicks Xaria in the midsection before grabbing her by the arm and whipping her fiercely into one of the production crates across the hall! Yet despite this harsh impact, Xaria doesn’t make so much as outcry as she falls to the floor on hands and knees, one hand going to where her back struck!
GREYSON MARKS: I don’t like this, Lincoln… this isn’t right. Can we get this match called off?
LINCOLN PHELPS: What? It just started! Give ‘em a chance!
GREYSON MARKS: Xaria isn’t even fighting back, you dolt! This could get really bad!
A running kick to the ribs turns the still-silent Xaria onto her back, leading to Zoey picking her up by the hair and drawing her forcefully away from the hallway leading to Gorilla, taking her past some of the offices and locker rooms before whipping her hard into one of the bathroom doors! Xaria goes tumbling through it and down onto the tile but that isn’t quite enough for Zoey. She gets angrier with every moment that Xaria refuses to fight, standing the woman up and whipping the door hard into her, the hard passage whacking Xaria in the head and sending her stumbling backwards into one of the stalls! Grabbing her by the arm again, Zoey whips Xaria into the wall, the Rainbow Angel colliding with one of the metal paper towel dispensers and holding her head as a result, her fingers coming away with a small amount of blood on them!
Zoey does not see this as she has already turned back to the toilet, grabbing the lid off the tank and getting a firm grip on it. She looks over her shoulder towards Xaria and the emptiness in her stare is chilling.
LINCOLN PHELPS: Ohhhhh yeah! Swing for the fences, girl!
GREYSON MARKS: Are you insane?! A shot with something like that could end someone’s career!
Reaffirming her grip, Zoey whips around and swings with all her might using the heavy ceramic lid… only for Xaria to suddenly find herself yanked out of the way! In the last moment, an arm reached through the partly-open door and pulled her from the line of fire! Zoey’s swing brings the lid against the already-dented dispenser, knocking it off the wall and sending it clattering to the tile floor and breaking the lid itself to pieces! Zoey grunts and shakes off her hands, the impact hurting her a little, too! She yanks the door open and finds herself face to face with…
GREYSON MARKS: William Blake Mason!
LINCOLN PHELPS: The hell is HE doing here?!
Xaria is on the floor behind William, seemingly having woken up from her pacifistic state, gazing wide-eyed up at her friend. He stands steadfast between Xaria and Zoey, the latter glaring at him coldly.
ZOEY MADIGAN-STAR: Out of my way, William.
WILLIAM BLAKE MASON: No. Xaria is not going to fight you, Zoey. If you want to hurt someone, you’ll have to hurt me.
ZOEY MADIGAN-STAR: MOVE!
Yet, he does not. Given no choice, Zoey starts throwing hard forearms into the jaw of William, having to almost leave her feet to get any thrust given his six-inch height advantage. Surprised by the assault, Mason nevertheless fights back, lacing into Zoey with hard chops to her upper chest, finally sending some offense her way after several minutes of her pasting a nonviolent Xaria! Sent into the wall herself, Zoey needs a few moments to shake it off, and that’s where William moves to check on Xaria again. She tries to tell him something but has to dart aside when Zoey comes barreling in from behind, landing a kick to the side of Mason’s head that drives his skull into the wall hard. Grunting in pain, the bigger man is down on all fours for a few moments with Zoey’s full attention now upon him.
GREYSON MARKS: Crap-crap-crap!
LINCOLN PHELPS: Stuck his nose in and now that nose might be comin’ off! Bonus!
GREYSON MARKS: You’re a real piece of work, aren’t you?! Mason didn’t do anything to deserve this!
It’s a struggle, but Zoey brings down a shelf of stage fittings, the metallic clatter loud and echoing in the hallway, sending the referee scrambling away to safety! William, too, barely gets out of the way of the falling objects, getting to his feet despite being unsteady. Zoey leaps on his back, in a blind rage now, but it works against her when he gets hold of her and snapmares her to the hard floor, knocking some wind out of her. Going to a knee for a moment, William forces himself back up and turns to a still wide-eyed Xaria.
WILLIAM BLAKE MASON: What are you still doing here?! GO!
It was a moment too much.
LINCOLN PHELPS: Uh-oh! She’s got the wand!
Zoey does indeed have that steel wand, and her first strike is to the back of Mason, causing him to arch up in pain! Xaria’s hands go to her mouth, open in shock, as the next strike is to the back of his right leg, causing the big man to drop to a knee! Zoey tosses the wand aside at that point and grabs William by the head… then the arm. She drapes her right leg over that arm and looks over her shoulder at Xaria for a second before driving Mason to the floor with Seeing Stars!
GREYSON MARKS: Good God, he has to be concussed after that! Someone get help back there!
LINCOLN PHELPS: Oh, hey! Look who’s awake!
That is more than Xaria can take. When Zoey gets back to her feet, she turns right into her own wand being used against her, slammed into her midsection by the very upset Xaria! Two more shots are leveled onto Zoey, this time across her back, by Xaria, who afterward puts a knee on Zoey’s back and brings the wand up against her throat, trying to choke the Sorceress Supreme out! Zoey gets both hands on the wand, trying to bring it down and get more air, but the Rainbow Angel has the leverage, wrenching back hard on the item as she tries to force Zoey into a state where she has no choice but to submit!
GREYSON MARKS: Xaria couldn’t take William being hurt just to help her! Zoey might have pushed this too far!
LINCOLN PHELPS: At least we’re getting a proper fight now!
Zoey struggles at first, but soon starts to fade… until she gives the wand a sudden, sharp twist! A burst of contained pyro shoots out of one end, blasting harmlessly against the wall but doing the job of startling Xaria enough to make her lose her grip! Yanking the wand out of her hands, Zoey tosses it aside and tackles Xaria to the floor while at the same time trainers rush past to try and get William Blake Mason out of the line of fire! The two women are rolling on the ground tearing at one another like wildcats now, shrieking and cursing, each one wanting nothing more than to tear the other apart!
LINCOLN PHELPS: Catfiiiiiight!
GREYSON MARKS: Damn it, Lincoln, that’s only if Ollie is involved! We’re better than that!
Put on defense for the first time, Zoey is up before Xaria, but attacked before she can get her footing as Xaria tackles her into the catering area, knocking her into one of the empty tables! Hard punches keep Zoey under control as Xaria lays her out on a table, landing some double-fisted clubbing blows to the chest and midsection of the Sorceress Supreme, leaving her gasping for air yet again! Getting up onto another empty table nearby, workers scattering to get out of her way, Xaria gets a short running start and leaps, delivering a double-stomp to Zoey’s chest, putting her THROUGH that table! Left amongst the shattered remains, coughing and gasping, Zoey has no response for Xaria making a cover!
ONE…
TWO…
KICK-OUT!
Zoey forces her way out of the pin attempt and shoves Xaria away. It only buys her a few moments, though; Xaria comes at her top speed, blasting the former Impulse Champion with a Rain-BOOM knee strike to the head! The blow sends Zoey careening over a table full of arranged beverages in bottles and cans, leaving quite the mess. Again, Xaria rolls Zoey over and makes an attempt at a cover!
ONE…
TWO…
KICK-OUT!
LINCOLN PHELPS: Now Zoey’s on the receiving end! How long’s she gonna keep this up?!
GREYSON MARKS: I have no idea, but if I’m Xaria, I’m gonna keep fighting till the end now before someone else gets hurt!
Xaria pulls Zoey up by one of her braids and is met with a palm strike to the face! The blow stuns rather than hurts, and Xaria retorts with a slap every bit as hard as Farrah’s from earlier! That shot seems to wake Zoey up again and she surprises Xaria with a headbutt, leaving her holding her head for a few moments! Zoey grabs the large punch bowl from nearby, one of the few things to not go flying off the table, and dumps it out! Xaria barely darts aside as Zoey tries to smash the glass vessel over her head, the object instead smashing into pieces on the concrete floor! Xaria leaps into the attack again, booting Zoey low and grabbing her by the head. She pauses for a moment, looking to make sure her aim is right, then kicks off one of the folding chairs to deliver Wrath of the Harbinger, aiming Zoey’s head right for the scattered shards of glass…
GREYSON MARKS: Watch out!
…but Zoey shoves her away!
LINCOLN PHELPS: Too close!
The former Harbinger lands on her feet and looks for a second Rain-BOOM on Zoey, who barely sidesteps the attack before spinning Xaria about and spiking HER into the glass with the Trap Chamber! But Zoey doesn’t get up unscathed as glass cuts up her back as surely as it cuts Xaria’s head!
GREYSON MARKS: Lord… both these women are bleeding now!
LINCOLN PHELPS: And not in-
GREYSON MARKS: You finish that joke and I’ll deck you!
Both women are writhing in pain, Zoey perhaps more so than Xaria given that she took more of a landing on the glass. Xaria wipes her forearm across her head and gets up, trying to move away from Zoey. The fight, it seems, is leaving her again. Zoey, slow to rise, starts to move after her, unwilling to let this be all. She grabs Xaria by the arm as they approach another hallway, one which leads to the loading dock. A rack of chairs nearby provides a weapon and Xaria takes advantage, snatching up one of the folded pieces and trying to take Zoey out with a headshot! Zoey barely ducks it and stumbles in the process. Xaria brings the chair up high over her head, ready to bring it crashing down… but inexplicably stops!
LINCOLN PHELPS: Wait, what the hell?!
GREYSON MARKS: Xaria… just realized what she was about to do, Lincoln. Her heart still isn’t in this!
LINCOLN PHELPS: Ah, horsecrap!
Instead, Xaria throws the chair aside, almost ashamed of herself. Zoey gets back to her feet, staggered, and stares at Xaria… who stares right back. Both women are battered now. Battered and bleeding. Neither seems to know what to do… but Zoey is the first to act. She launches herself at Xaria, taking the other woman down to the floor, leading to another series of wild blows between both as Xaria is snapped back into a state of desperation, this time to save herself rather than her friend! And as the moments and punches fly, she starts getting the advantage over Zoey! Her blows start landing unanswered, the shots bouncing Zoey’s head off the floor a few times, even, until Xaria stands back up, looking around wildly. The adrenaline pumping through her is doing its part to keep her in the fight and, as she spots the loading dock nearby, she grabs Zoey by the ankle and starts to drag her that way.
The view changes as they reach the edge of the dock. The drop is several feet to cold, unforgiving concrete and it is here that Xaria stops. Zoey is just now realizing where they are and trying to kick her leg out of Xaria’s grip. Determined, Xaria kicks the leg she holds, drawing a yelp of pain from Zoey, angrily looking down at the magician.
XARIA LINETTE: It shouldn’t have come to this! You shouldn’t have attacked William!
Zoey is whipped into one of the closed dock doors, the rolling metal clattering loudly as her form crashes against it. A running kick to the head exacerbates this, as does Xaria grabbing her by the head and ramming it against the metal a few times for good measure!
XARIA LINETTE: You’re a monster!
Un monstre!Stopping to open the other door, letting the night air into the dock, Xaria peers over the edge before turning back to Zoey, grabbing her by the braids and pulling her toward the drop-off. There is still hesitation in the Rainbow Angel for some reason, but it doesn’t last. She hoists Zoey up on her shoulder, moving back from the edge a bit…
GREYSON MARKS: She can’t seriously mean to toss her off! That’s almost ten feet down to concrete!
LINCOLN PHELPS: Maybe she is! Either way, this is TOO far!
Once she realizes what’s coming, Zoey struggles to get off Xaria’s shoulder and only barely manages to do so! She lands on her feet and Xaria has to put on the brakes in a hurry before she hurls
herself off the edge. She feels Zoey approach and throws a back kick to Zoey’s midsection, following with a football kick to the chest, straightening the magician back up! Zoey counters with a spinning hook kick of her own but Xaria ducks this and seems to be thinking powerbomb, getting under Zoey and hoisting her up, though the Sorceress Supreme fights her way down with an elbow to the head! Back on her feet with a wobbly Xaria before her, Zoey drives a Yakuza kick into the face of the Rainbow Angel… the blow sending her careening toward the edge of the drop-off before she can right herself!
GREYSON MARKS: INCOMING!
What happens next feels as though it is happening in slow-motion. Xaria loses her footing and starts to tumble, unavoidably going over the edge. Zoey, several feet away, reacts on instinct and charges the Rainbow Angel… but instead of giving her that last shove to make sure Xaria is over and done with, she grabs the woman’s wrist before she can fall. Xaria’s weight plus her own almost causes both women to go down, but Zoey grabs one of the chains linked to the metal doors and keeps the Rainbow Angel from going over the edge! With a heave, wincing at the effort, Zoey pulls Xaria away from the edge, leaving the two women staring at one another…
LINCOLN PHELPS: That…
GREYSON MARKS: I guess there’s still some of the old Zoey in there…?
LINCOLN PHELPS: You might be right…
Zoey lets Xaria get to her feet, the Frenchwoman staring at the Italian.
ZOEY MADIGAN-STAR: Not like that.
XARIA LINETTE: Oui…A brief nod between the two women, perhaps some kind of understanding. Then they’re both up and staring for a split-second before charging at one another! Xaria attempts a shuffle side kick with Zoey narrowly ducking out of the way. The magician starts lacing into Xaria then, pulling her old Shimmerstep combination out of the mothballs as she pastes the Rainbow Angel with kicks to the ribs and legs, but the finishing hook kick is avoided by Xaria, who gets Zoey up on her shoulders for a Kiss the Devil! Zoey flips out of it and leaps into a Trap Chamber only to be shoved away by Xaria! The two women’s minds align for a moment and they take one another out with a double-clothesline, but even that doesn’t keep them down long!
Zoey is up first, though, charging Xaria and driving her into the concrete wall, throwing a few knees to the midsection and looking to do unto the Rainbow Angel as she did unto William Blake Mason with the Seeing Stars! Xaria, however, twists out of her grip and tries to force Zoey to the floor for the Angelic Clutch! Zoey is gasping in pain, barely staving off the hold and attempting to turn it into her own submission, the Spellbound! Xaria, however, keeps her fingers locked and breaks away with both women creating a little distance as they roll away. Xaria charges first this time and Zoey, on instinct, snatches up the Rainbow Angel with an exploder suplex, bringing her down hard on the floor and hooking the leg!
ONE…
TWO…
THR-NO!
SHOULDER UP!

GREYSON MARKS: Something’s gotta give here!
LINCOLN PHELPS: These women… they’ve got more in ‘em than anyone knew!
GREYSON MARKS: But it took hate to bring it out…
Xaria recovers enough to stop another Seeing Stars, rolling Zoey up for a quick two-count, merely a set-up for her to clamp on a Mandible Claw! Zoey, wide-eyed, has no answer for this painful hold, wrenching at Xaria’s arm until the Rainbow Angel braces her leg and delivers a modified STO to bring Zoey down to the floor! The referee gets in again, seeing if Zoey wants to give up but she refuses! Xaria clamps tighter but is still met with resistance, frustration finally making her let go! Deciding that the only way is the Wrath of the Harbinger, Xaria sets up again, intending to kick off the wall… but Zoey puts on the brakes and shoves Xaria face-first into the wall instead! Zoey spins her ‘round and grabs the head and arm, draping the leg and dropping down hard!
LINCOLN PHELPS: Seeing Stars!
GREYSON MARKS: That has to be it!
ONE…
TWO…
…
THREE!
DING! DING! DING!

LINCOLN PHELPS: It’s over… holy hell…
GREYSON MARKS: As much as a lot of us wish it didn’t have to be that way, this was still an amazing match…
Out in the arena, “Ladies and Gentlemen” plays, both women laid out on the floor after the hellacious fight. Both women are barely stirring, though Xaria is clearly worse for wear. Trainers come to check on both, William Blake Mason reappearing to look in on his friend. Zoey is the first to rise, waving away the help despite clearly being in need of it, with Mason glaring at her from where he kneels at his friend’s side. All Zoey can offer in response is a sad expression.
LINCOLN PHELPS: She could at least be a little happy that she got some retribution!
GREYSON MARKS: She didn’t want this any more than Xaria did, Lincoln, though admittedly it was hard to tell at times…
Greyson is cut off by a sudden yell! Zoey, as she limps away from the scene, is suddenly blindsided by Prince Sekhmethotep! The blow sends her into the wall and Prince is upon her in moments, firing off right hands with a sadistic look on his face! Zoey is unable to defend herself from the sudden assault, though security tries to move in to assist, only to be send scrambling by Prince after he tees off on a few of them, too!
GREYSON MARKS: Damn it, get that maniac out of here! He’s done enough damage!
LINCOLN PHELPS: Looks like some part of him still cares about dear Aunt Xaria! No free wins here, magic girl!
Xaria is unaware of what’s going on and while William IS, he decides to keep out of it, watching the goings-on and remaining by his friend’s side. Zoey is dragged up and pushed against the wall, Prince Sekhmethotep holding her lower face tightly with his right hand, staring into her eyes before breaking into a small yet sinister grin. And then…
GREYSON MARKS: Eye of Ra! Good grief, he just smashed her against the wall with that knee!
LINCOLN PHELPS: Not good… not good at all! We need more help back there!
Prince watches as Zoey slumps unconsciously to the floor. Xaria, coming around a little at this point, turns to see what is going on and instantly realizes what has transpired. Prince turns her way, meeting his aunt’s eyes, before bowing to her and walking away before more security and other help arrives to deal with the situation as we go off air!
