It's a warm, sunny day in Mexico City as several patrons are moving through the city with no cares in the world. As the people are expressing joy, Sapphire Delgado is sitting in the back corner of an old, rundown dive bar located just outside of Mexico City. The dive bar itself is full with all kinds of people as Sapphire sits with her back towards the door and a bandanna hanging around her neck. A beautiful young woman probably in her late teens walks up to the table that Sapphire is occupying.
Young Woman: Hola senorita, can I get you anything?
Sapphire tilts her head up slightly, gives the young woman a look that would kill before looking back down at the maghonay colored table.
Sapphire Delgado: Scotch
Sapphire doesn't even look up from the table as the young woman nods her head and walks back toward the bar. It has been a long time since she had done anything on her own since joining the Pro Wrestling Excellence roster. Her boyfriend of five years wanted to explore the city ruins and her best friend wanted to go shopping. So Sapphire took it upon herself to go sit somewhere and reflect on how her career has been up to this point.
Sapphire Delgado: If you want to keep the ability to see then I suggest you look elsewhere.
Sapphire warns a local patron who just looked towards her for a split second. The local patron looks at his companions as the young woman returns to the table. She places a glass down onto a coaster and pours some of the contents out into the glass. Before she can leave, Sapphire grabs the woman by her arm and squeezes it.
Sapphire Delgado: Leave the fucking bottle and don't bother me again.
She tells the young woman who has fear in her eyes. Sapphire slowly takes a sip of her drink while keeping her eyes pointed towards the table. A few minutes later, a man probably standing a little over six feet tall with a dark mask covering his entire face.
Father: Hola mi hermosa hija
A deep, raspy voice rings out as Sapphire lifts her head up. She slowly looks over her shoulder as a ruggedly handsome man is standing in the middle of some of the local patrons.
Sapphire Delgado: Papá por qué estás aquí?
Father: You didn't think I would miss watching my hija compete in Mexico City.
Her father moves across the hardwood floor and places a hand on one of the chairs around the table. Sapphire nods her head as he sits down across from her.
Sapphire Delgado: I'm surprised you would even show up dad.
Father: Normally, I would avoid this pathetic city but I made the exception for you.
Sapphire Delgado: Aren't you just the sweetest?
The two share a few laughs as well as a few shots of bourbon. A group of local patrons enter the dive bar. They are greeting everyone with a smile until one of them notices Sapphire and her father.
Local Patron: Who let these two shits in here?
No one speaks up as Sapphire and her father continues to enjoy themselves while not paying any attention to the commotion around them.
Father: Are you ready for your match?
Sapphire nods her head while sipping on her bourbon.
Sapphire Delgado: I'm as ready as I'll ever...
As she is speaking one of the patrons walks up to their table and places his hand on Sapphire's arm. Sapphire clears her throat hoping to get the guy's attention but he just looks at her with a smirk before blowing her a slight kiss. He turns back toward the masked man sitting with her and begins poking him in the chest.
Patron: You are in the wrong part of the world mi amigo. We don't like your kind.
Sapphire Delgado: Cabrón
Sapphire says under her breath as the guy turns to look at her.
Patron: What did you just say perra?
Sapphire smiles when he calls her that particular word in Spanish. The guy shrugs his shoulder while looking back at the masked man. Before he can utter a single word, Sapphire slams him face first down onto the table. His pals stop in their tracks when she pulls out her softball bat that was sitting beside her out of the way. The young guy lifts his head up as blood just pours out his nose and down into his mouth. Sapphire snickers before shoving the young man away before standing up to her feet. Her father remains seated as the two share a quick nod and toast. Sapphire slams the glass right across the jaw of the one local man who was oogling her.
Sapphire Delgado: Te dije que dejaras de mirarme
Sapphire walks out of the bar as her father watches with a smile etched across his exposed lips. He continues to sip on the bourbon as Sapphire turns left. She doesn't seem to be in any hurry as she stops mid stride. She pulls out her ear buds, places them inside her ear and proceeds to play some music as she continues her walk through Mexico City.
As Sapphire is walking through the many ruins, her mind begins to wonder.
Sapphire Delgado: Three years ago, I was scheduled to compete in a match down here in Mexico City. I never got the chance to compete due to the company who had invited quickly folded before I could come. That left a very bitter taste in my mouth. A taste that to this day hasn't fully left my mouth. I can't tell how many nights I lied awake at night wondering why? Then it dawned me, Mexico City is a shit town. My father told me stories about how the people in Mexico City are different than the people in Juarez or Tijuana. Now that I have been here for a couple of days, I can honestly say my father was right.
The fact you cabronas have no clue what is going to happen at Magnificent truly tells me how stupid you perras are in the grand scheme of things.
The song playing on Sapphire's phone changed as she stops to check it. She reads the title and skips it.
Now I can spend all day and night talking about how much I much disdain I have for this rat piss of a country but I have more pressing matters that deserve my attention. Unlike most of the people in this putrid city, I will have the opportunity to earn myself a Title shot for any championship in PWE. Now I'm sure everyone will be hoping to gain that Excellence championship seeing it's our top prize. Some might want that Impulse championship. Not me. My eyes are solely on the victory championship. Ironically enough, the new champion Ellie Quinn just so happens to be a competitor in this rumble. I'm sure she is just jumping for joy that she finally slayed the Lach-less Monster. Unfortunately for her bitch ass, I am going to make it my mission to be the one who eliminates her fucking ass.
I want her to know that I'm coming for that belt. Don't worry Ellie, I'll be sure to make it super easy on you since your puny little brain won't compute anything that I fucking say. Once I am through with your punk ass, I'm going to make sure all of the invaders get dealt with in a swift, violent manner. I don't care who you are, where you come from or why you are even here. The fact is you are not welcomed and I will make sure your time here is pure hell.
As for those morons who are on the roster, I don't like you either. You are in my way and I will not stand for it. I will hurt people. I will destroy hopes and ruin dreams. No one is safe from me. The Florida Bitch will leave a lasting impression on every fucker who enters the ring. 29 is the magic number. 29 assholes will hit the floor with one asshole left standing. That asshole will be me.
