“LET’S GET READY TO RUMBLE!”

Chelsea would end up suffering her first loss of 2022 being defeated by Holly Rhoades but PWE’s second PPV Magnificence was almost here and Chelsea was getting a huge chance to bounce back from the loss! She was among the 33 competitors in the Rumble Match, the prize for the winner? A shot at any title of their choice plus a special surprise for the top four to be revealed at the next Victory! So, who was her competition?

Chelsea has already broken her losing streak but can she get her first win on PPV?

Meet the new year, same as the old year?

2022 definitely got off to a good enough start for me, I won my first title last month over in Rev1 and I haven’t lost a match in that fed since winning the title but elsewhere? Level Up’s first show of the year hasn’t happened yet and I’m set to compete in a six person tag team match over there but PWE? Well, this is where things get interesting.

Let’s get the obvious out of the way, yeah I suffered my first loss of the year to Holly Rhoades, it sucks but it was a good, competitive match all the same, but now we are both in the Ola-Rumble, what’s the Ola-Rumble?

Well do you remember that time that I wrestled a cat? Yeah, Ollie’s hosting this thing and it’s bringing in a bunch of folk from other feds, including people who I encountered outside PWE, the winner is getting a title shot of his/her choice and the top four is getting a “special prize” to be revealed on the next episode of Victory, needless to say the stakes are high in this match but can I pull this off?

That’s the question that’s currently plaguing me.

”Thirty other wrestlers, one title shot and one special prize for the final four.” I commented to myself as I looked over the names for the PWE Rumble on my phone. ”This is definitely going to be the biggest challenge of my career to date.” I added and Sarah, who was cleaning up the dishes from tonight’s dinner, looked up before shaking her head.

”Didn’t you compete in a rumble for Rev1?” Sarah asked and I frowned, that wasn’t a memory I like to think about even though I am currently the Rev1 International Champion. ”In your debut match no less?”

”Yeah, I joined that fed as part of the whole brand I had going with my ex at the time, he got eliminated before me and feel free to make any jokes you want about guys finishing first!” I responded with a nod and Sarah laughed before shaking her head. ”I at least finished in the top seven of that match, and the less said about my second match in Level Up the better.” I added before sighing. ”I don’t know if I’ve made this clear yet Sarah but me and Battle Royals don’t mix, much less Royal Rumbles!”

”I’ve been in a few myself but well, with my style of wrestling it was less “eliminations are over the top rope” and more “first one in the orgy to reach orgasm wins”, and those things could go on all night.” Sarah commented and if I had a drink, I’m fairly certain that it would’ve ended up all over the kitchen table when my girlfriend said that, don’t get me wrong we’ve both done porn, if that was meant to be a secret of mine then I’d be doing a shockingly poor job of keeping it, but I’ve only done it once or twice, Sarah did it as a career. ”But who knows? Maybe the third time will be the charm?”

”Maybe, but one look at the other competitors in the field doesn’t give me much hope.” I commented as Sarah finished the washing up and walked over to me. ”I wrestled Stephan Terrella during the Olympians Tournament, he’s a big strong dude! Not as big as the guys I’m facing tomorrow in Level Up but still a lot bigger than me! Holly was my last opponent in PWE, Shawn Warstein was the guy I confused for my ex which was basically the beginning of the end of that relationship and……..”

Whatever point I was about to make went out the window, why? Because Sarah pulled me out of my chair and into a passionate kiss, tongue and all and well, I was happy to return the favour. ”You’re worrying too much Chelsea, maybe we can unwind in the bedroom?” Sarah offered once we broke the kiss and I grinned in response.

”Like I’m going to say no to that!” I responded with a grin before returning the kiss and before long we were down to our underwear and making out way up the stairs to our bedroom.

I’d describe what happened once we were in the bedroom but, well, you’ve got an internet connection, right? PornHub and Brazzers are just a Google Search away! You might even see me and Sarah in a vid!

Well, it’s almost finished!

What I’m talking about is Krawling Khaos’ second album The Church of the Red Harvest, last track is being squared away as we speak and it should be ready to go up on Bandcamp Friday with any luck, until then the only thing we could do was put the finishing touches on the album.

”So the riff starts in A Major and then switches to G Minor, you sure we’re not doing this in Drop D?” I asked Taylor as we worked on the last track’s riff, why was I asking that? ”The rest of the album’s in Drop D!”

“I know but we need to work on switching between the standard scales and this seems to be a perfect way to do that.” Taylor informed me and Trent and Julian worked on the bass and guitar parts, Sarah was off recording her vocal lines in another room. “Trust me Chelsea, with enough distortion it’s going to sound sick, the listeners won’t know what hit them when An Ode to the Flesh That Hates hits.”

”Still not sure why we couldn’t just call the track “The Flesh that Hates” but sure.” I commented with a shrug as Sarah showed me the riff and I nodded as I got the idea before I started playing it. ”It’s not like we’re skirting around the SCP’s actual name, it’s right there in the title.”

“I know but we’ve been avoiding called the SCPs by their actual names, just look at As Day Breaks or as it was originally called When Day Breaks.” Taylor responded before she turned to Julian and Trent. “We’ve got the riff down, ready when you are!”

“Let’s hear it!” Julian responded and Trent nodded in agreement before we started playing the instrumental version of the track, well, at least it seemed like an instrumental since Sarah could hear us and was singing the lyrics in the other room. “Once we get this committed to a CD we should be ready to go!” Julian added as we finished and a few seconds later Sarah returned to the room with a big grin on her face.

”And I can’t wait.” I responded before turning to my girlfriend. ”How are your vocals holding up?”

”About as well as you’d expect.” Sarah responded before she took a seat near Trent’s drumkit. ”And the song sounded sick as well, I think this track could replace Requiem for a Dead God in the setlist!”

“Let’s not get too far ahead of ourselves, we agreed that that was going to be a setlist staple.” Trent responded with a nod as he shifted his weight. “And we had better finalize that setlist for our appearance for This Is Awesome Promotions.”

”Yeah, good idea.” Sarah nodded before we went through the setlist.

This is a big one.

”Normally I’d go over my opponents one at a time in a multi-person match like this but here’s the thing, I’ve got twenty nine other opponents at Magnificence and I’ll probably be in my mid to late thirties AT LEAST by the time I was finished going over each opponent individually! That’s right! I’ve been crowbarred into the Olla-Rumble alongside twenty nine other wrestlers and the prize is a big one, a shot at any title of the winner’s choice plus a special prize for the final four! What’s there left to say other than LET’S GET READY TO RUMBLE!”

Quite a bit actually!

”But just who are my competition in this match? Yeah PWE was doing this as an open invitational to other feds as well and what’s more? I know two of the newcomers!”

Don’t act shocked!

”If your surprised by the fact that PWE isn’t my only fed then you haven’t been paying attention to my Twitter account, @n1ghtmareangei by the way, but that aside, it’s not even guaranteed that I’ll meet Stephan Terrella or Sawn Warstein in this match because for all I know? They could be eliminated by the time I make my entrance! But yeah, aside from the PWE guys those two are the only ones in this match that I’m familiar with and even then, Stephan is the only one I’ve wrestled against and that was in two mixed tag matches!”

But I digress.

”Am I saying that I’m going to throw everyone else in the match out and win? Off course not! I don’t even know what my starting number will be! But anything can happen in a match with twenty nine other men and women vying for championship gold and hey, who knows? Maybe luck will finally be on my side and I’ll draw number thirty? Or maybe lady luck will continue her grudge against me and I’ll draw number one whilst a big guy like Stephan Terrella draws number two, anything can happen!”

It’s that simple.

”Up to and including me winning this whole thing! After all I’m already a champion over in Rev1, what’s stopping me from doing the same here in PWE? Rotten luck? Well yeah, that goes without saying! But my luck has finally started to turn around and who knows? Maybe this match will be the one to propel me to the top of the food chain after I win it all?”

And with that I decided to wrap things up.

”Weirder things have happened in this sport and with twenty nine other wrestlers in this thing, I reckon that even if I draw number thirty things are going to get crazy before I hit the ring but as “The Nightmare Angel” Chelsea Skye always says, I will go out there and show why the Skyes the Limit once the bell rings! Even if I can’t really rely on my high flying offence because one wrong step and I’ll be eliminated, I’ll just have to find some other way to win!”

I started my guitar practice as the scene fades.
