A Gamer Speaks

Jensen Kidd was definitely a quirky young wrestler. The 24 year old was seen with her usual plaid skirt,Converses, thick round glasses, and braces, but this time, to pay tribute to one of her favorite youtubers, Ocatv1us kitten, she was wearing cat ears and Octav1us’ get up of suspenders as well as the same white shirt Octav1us usually wore. She looked as adorably geeky as she normally would.



Jensen Kidd: Hiiii PWE! My name is Jensen Kidd but friends and family also call me Jenny. As you can tell, I’m a huge nerd but also a gamer mhm! I love me some video games of all kinds as I’ve grown to love everything I play! I’ve found a few bad games! But I’m also a Halo (hell) of a wrestler. You’ll see very quickly that I do not curse, and instead replace curse words with video game names, mhm!



Jensen was one of those that was always happy. She loved what she did and her fans, friends and family. But above all, she loved her husband, Daniel. She just loved people as a whole and loved the cheers from fans and loved the fact that the more years she spent in ring, the better she got. This was her sixth year in the game and she was not about to give it up now.



Jensen Kidd: As I said, my name is Jensen Kidd, and if ya can’t tell by my outfit, I’m a proud geek, mhm! But right now, I’m dressed as one of my influences as a youtuber, Octav1us aka Octav1us Kitten. She, like me, is a gaming youtuber, and i think she’s the British me, without glasses and braces. I’d love to meet her someday, I mean I already met the man who saved my beloved video game industry in 1983, Shigeru Miyamoto.



Jensen also loved gaming. She did it as much as she could. But between wrestling and Youtube, she didn’t have much time outside her channel to game. But if she was seen as a convention guest, she was gaming with fans.



Jensen Kidd: Nathaniel is one of those guys that part of me wants to like even if he’s one of those stuck up fake British gents. I’ve run into plenty of them in online gaming and life. They’re the type that think they can pay their way out of anything. But let me tell you, that’s not going to happen.



She loved Smash especially the fact that she could play online with fans and her favorite game to play as a whole. She loved the fact that her favorite Nintendo characters were all here, even her former namesake, in Simon Belmont. There were so many great characters and it had a unique style for a nintendo game as not every day did Nintendo do those types of games.



Jensen Kidd: Now I’m sure Nathaniel is gonna take one look at me and see me as some sort of pushover just because I’m a nerd. But that is far from the truth. I’ve won titles anywhere I’ve gone which proves that I’m not your typical nerd. I wrestle. They don’t. But the thing is, Nathaniel, overlooking me is the worst thing you can do because not only am I athletic, but also smart, a genius, actually. So you aren’t going in there with any normal wrestler.


Jensen was not only smart but also very agile. She could do just about any move she wanted to do and do it well without messing it up. The fact that she had this quality made her further stand out against anyone in her path. She was rather unique and wanted people to know that. She also had quite a bit of speed. She was usually pulling off hurricanranas and such with speed and ease. She could do whatever was needed within her skills and the rules, to get it done.


Jensen Kidd: So Nathaniel, I just know you’re gonna bring your best, and you know I’ll do the same, just like I do in any game I play, whether it’s Pacman or Halo. I’ll make sure you get the absolute best. So let’s go out there and give our best match, mhm! These fans deserve it, you deserve it and this company deserves it! Let’s go out there and steal the show.



She then would strike a random pose to get people laughing, as she also loved entertaining people with her quirky personality. But as this was her first match, she also wanted to show her rarely seen more serious side, even if briefly, to show people that she did have it.



Jensen Kidd: And these fans, they deserve the absolute best and that’s what they’re getting from me. I go out there every time and put my heart into it. And I expect the same from anyone I go into the ring with, or anyone I play games with. See, I’m a gamer, and a nerd and nothing anyone can do or say will change that.



She wanted to be an inspiration to her fellow nerds. She wanted them to know that no matter what you look like, you can do whatever you put your mind to. And she showed that even though she wore glasses and braces, she was still attractive in her own right and wanted to show her fellow nerds that as well. She had both of her dream jobs and wanted to show people like her that they could do whatever they wanted.



Jensen Kidd: So guys, come on out and watch me take on Nathaniel Dixon in Round one of the invitational tournament! I’ll be representing WWI, AWS and WCW! I hope I do you guys proud! I’ll try my best just for you all! Have a great day everyone and I’ll see you guys there!



She said, flashing her braces and putting her headgear on as she skipped off. She wore her headgear off camera and wanted to wear it on camera but wasn’t sure if she was going a bit too far into the nerdy looks thing. But she’d see for sure.
