GREYSON MARKS: Now it is time to see our World Champion in action. The Excellence Champion, Damian Ayla…
LINCOLN PHELPS: The fact that he's facing Ashley Whitmore, who was of course trained by a former World Champion in Crystal Hilton.
GREYSON MARKS: I’m not sure that will matter much against Damian.
NINA LAWRENCE: The following match is scheduled for one fall…. Introducing first...
"Before all things reborn again. You learn the painful breath of time."
The lights in the arena fall low, allowing small pops of bright blue and purple to exclusively illuminate the environment. When the opening beat of Gojira’s “Born in Winter” descends into its harsher melody, a thick black fog floods the entrance stage. From within, two figures weave their way through. They reveal their identities as they step out onto the stage. Damian and Tara Ayla stare out in the distance as if they were transported from the dark abyss into the breathing world. Their faces were taken away by their individual masks until they take their lover’s mask. Once they do, Damian’s stony, hostile expression faces the camera. Tara steps in front of him, glaring out into the world that she despises. The two then make their way down the ramp.
Their march down the ramp is quiet, methodical, and dismissive of the audience. Once they reach the middle, Tara stops. Damian follows suit, slowly drawing up his arms. The lights in the arena begin to brighten until Tara raises her hand and drops it abruptly. In complete darkness, the audience lingers until Damian and Tara both throw their arms up again. With a flurry of an uncontrollable, rapid sequence of blue, purple, and white lighting, the entire arena is lit up again. Damian’s arms are over his chest in an X while Tara has her hands in prayer. The two of them break away and continue onto the ring apron.
Damian lifts Tara onto the ring apron before scaling the steel steps. Tara waits there for her husband as he gets close. He then reaches his hand onto her cheek, caressing her lovingly. But then he clasps her face and sends her backward over the top rope. Tara, however, lands with a perfect backflip. Damian dips below the middle rope and enters. Tara’s waiting for him in the center of the ring, her arm upward for him to take into his grip. He moves behind her sensually and drapes his arm around her neck. Tara lifts her free hand up towards his face, delicately dragging her nails against his cheek until the lights stabilize.
NINA LAWRENCE: Standing six-foot-three and weighing two hundred and forty-three pounds...from Silent Hill...he is the Pro Wrestling EXCELLENCE CHAAAAAMPIOOOONNNNN...DAMIAN AYLA!!!!!
He smirks maliciously as he turns, escorting and helping his lovely wife down so that she can survey his method of elimination easily from the sidelines.
"Maybe if I act like that, that guy will call me back
Porno paparazzi girl, I don't wanna be a stupid girl"
"Stupid Girls" by Pink begins to play loudly over the speakers as it does so Ashley Whitmore makes her way down to the ramp to the loud sound of boos. She takes a moment to rake it all in and she seductively makes her way down to the ramp. Once she reaches the ring she slowly makes her way each step slowly swinging her hips before she steps inside the ring. She walks over to the middle of the ropes and she steps on the bottom rope bending over to glance at the crowd before stepping back waving her arm off at the crowd. She waits patiently in the corner annoyed that she has to be kept waiting by some ignorant competitor.
NINA LAWRENCE: And his opponent from Toronto Ontario Canada, standing five feet, four inches tall and weighing one hundred and fifteen pounds....“The Perfect Score” Ashley WHITEMOREEEEE!
DING! DING! DING!
The match begins and Ashley straight away gets right into the face of the champion. Damian stands stoic, not showing any emotion as Ashley yells in his face and starts to mouth off. She put her arms out to the side and steps back with a swagger in his step. Damian tilts his head and then slowly shakes from side to side showing that Ashley has indeed made a mistake. Ashley steps forward and straight away throws a hard right hand. Damian eats it and then looks back at Ashley with a smirk, she stays on the attack hitting a knife edge chop and another right hand, she keeps beating on Damian who eats every single shot. She then goes for another right and Damian catches her by the arm twists it upwards bending her body up before pulling her down forward and throwing his knee up into the side hitting her right in the chest. He hits her again and again with these hard knee strikes before shoving her back and throwing a hard stiff right hand sending her down.
GREYSON MARKS: Did you hear that shot? Damian hit Ashley so hard I think she might already be out.
LINCOLN PHELPS: Ashley Whitmore was trained by one of the best in the business. I’m sure she can take apart even if it is from someone as dangerous and devastating as our World Champion.
GREYSON MARKS: I don’t know about that. Damian is an incredible athlete and someone who is quite frightening and with how hard he hit Ashley, I’d be surprised if she gets up.
Damian slowly and methodically moves around Ashley before stepping forward and stepping on her hand. As she tries to get up, he looks down and bends over, grabbing hold of her wrist and pulling her hand up while separating her fingers and snapping them both. Ashley yells in pain and looks at her hand as Damian shows a small smirk of acceptance; he then bends down pulling Ashley straight up into the air with a snap powerbomb causing her to bounce off the mat as he grabs a hold of her legs and spins her right over into a Boston Crab.
Ashley screams in pain and tries to pull herself to the ropes, crawls over slowly reaching out for the bottom right, and as her fingertips touch it Damian takes a few steps forward dragging her back to the center of the ring. Ashley shakes her head as the referee asks her if she wants to quit instead putting her hands over the back of her head grabbing her hair stopping herself from tapping. Damian pulls back even harder bending Ashley‘s body all the way back on its self in more of a lion tamer than a Boston crab, Ashley pushes up off of her own hands and puts her body back under herself relieving the pressure and ending up on her back with Damian holding her legs on top of her.
GREYSON MARKS: Ashley did everything she could to get out of that move. It looks like Damian was going to break her in half.
LINCOLN PHELPS: You have to give Ashley Whitmore credit. She was extremely tough not tapping out to that move not to mention it looks like Damian was going to bend her own legs to the back of her head.
Ashley throws her leg up as she is able to get free kicking Damian right in the chest. He steps back allowing Ashley to get back to her feet, she runs forward and is able to jump in the air and hit a flying forearm sending Damian over the top rope and down to the floor below. He lands on his feet after going backwards over the top rope and Ashley hits the ropes and throws herself in between the top and middle rope down onto Damian with a suicide dive. But Damian is able to catch Ashley in his arms and instead put his own arm under her armpit lifting her up and slamming Ashley down onto the floor outside with a saito suplex!
GREYSON MARKS: OH MY GOD....
LINCOLN PHELPS: That's it, pack it up, Ashley is dead.
GREYSON MARKS: Damian Ayla is a beast.
Damian pulls Ashley right back to her feet and rolls her into the ring. He follows her in and as Ashley crawls along the mat he measures her up and drops straight down with a hard elbow hitting the Canadian history X right to the back of her head. Ashley lands flat against the mat and Damian calls for the daytime hanging. He stands over her and reaches down to lock in the sleeper, Ashley struggles as he picks her up sliding out of the move before spinning around and going for the legs of Damian to trip him up into the undergrad. Damian locks the move and instead hooks his arm around her neck and her arm over his head picking her up into the star killer driver dropping Ashley straight down on the back of her neck.
LINCOLN PHELPS: Holy shit, you have to protect your neck.
GREYSON MARKS: Language!
Damian shakes his head and moves around Ashley who doesn’t know where she is as she crawls around the mat. He leans down wrapping his arm under her chin and around her neck lifting her right up into the day time hanging. He throws her backwards hitting the sleeper suplex, keeping hold of it into the sleeper. Ashley reaches her arms out trying desperately to grab onto the ropes. She can’t reach them and instead Damian locks in the hold even harder forcing Ashley to pass out.
WINNER BY KNOCKOUT: DAMIAN AYLA
NINA LAWRENCE: Here is your winner via knockout, THE EXCELLENCE CHAMPION, DAMIAN AYLA!!!!!!
Damian rises to his feet fully, standing tall. He does not smirk, he does not look on in malicious glee. He merely stares, and shakes his head slowly. The referee presents him with his championship, which he takes quickly, before sliding out of the ring and meeting with his beautiful, silent wife. He touches her cheek fondly once more and she smiles up at him, pleased with his level of aggression for the night. He wraps an arm around her as they begin to head towards the back, the cameras following only to find that they've disappeared behind the stage a moment later.
We return to Victory from the commercial break to a shot of someone walking down the backstage hallway, every heavy step taken with purpose. Nathaniel Cartwright, as we see upon the view panning around, is moving toward… something? Who can say what this man is doing or what he’s after. Having left Chelsea Skye lying in the ring a couple weeks ago, and TJ Alexander before her, Nathaniel is starting to get attention for his efforts. Whether that makes him happy or not, though, is a mystery. Coat over his shoulder, fingers hooked into the hood, he looks patently unapproachable. The rumors about his girlfriend disappearing have done a number on the man. Even his address to the fans and his opponent for the evening, Holly Rhodes, was… off. The Winter Wraith is in a hurry, though. That much is for sure.
A few people call out to him as he passes, offering congratulations for his recent wins... and Nathaniel does respond; a few words of thanks here, a high-five or two there. Despite the natural state of being for the man, he is not an island. Kind words are met with kind responses. Yet he slips right back into his tense state moments later. At the very least, the exhortations of others are brief bright spots for him.
Stupidity? Well, that’s a whole other thing...
DEVON WILKES: Yo! Nate! Hey, over here!
He should have followed his first instinct and kept on moving. Better yet, he should have picked up the pace. Instead, Nathaniel slows and then doubles-down by actually looking over his shoulder. Not that he is surprised to see Devon Wilkes coming his way, Evan Mayne in tow with camera at the ready, but regret is immediate once he realizes that he responded without thinking.
NATHANIEL CARTWRIGHT: You again.
DEVON WILKES: Oh, you know it! After that chat we had in the hospital, views on my YouTube channel and listens on my Spotify podcast went through the roof! You’re money! Money in my pocket, that is!
Nathaniel definitely twitched there. His gaze averts toward Evan, a brow going up.
EVAN MAYNE: Um… Mr. Cartwright.
NATHANIEL CARTWRIGHT: Evan.
The slightest nod. Nate does not look as harshly upon Evan, apparently. Devon, on the other hand…
DEVON WILKES: And that being the case, I figure… why not catch the man in his element! The undefeated Winter Wraith, fresh off opening up another can of ass-beat on some poor sod in a PWE ring! Surely you got something to say after shutting another fool down, right? Right?!
Squeezing the bridge of his nose with his free hand, Nathaniel tries… he tries so very hard… to not just drop this clown.
NATHANIEL CARTWRIGHT: Devon, go find someone else to annoy. I have a match to get ready for.
Without waiting for a response, Nathaniel turns to walk away. Devon, though, is not so easily slipped.
DEVON WILKES: ”wo minutes, big man! That’s all I’m looking for! You owe me that much for smashing up my recorder last time, wouldn’t you say?!
EVAN MAYNE: Seriously, Dev? Good grief…
Devon turns to say something to his cameraman, but turns around when he feels a shadow pass over him. Nate is suddenly standing within inches of him, a faintly incredulous look on his face.
NATHANIEL CARTWRIGHT: Mind repeating that?
DEVON WILKES: What, about you owing me?
EVAN MAYNE: You CAN’T be that thick…
Nathaniel shakes his head.
NATHANIEL CARTWRIGHT: Then how about this: how about I forget how you keep poking your greasy head up where it isn’t wanted? How about you stop following me, looking for hits on your podcast or whatever-the-hell… and I won’t react violently to this imposition on my time and person? Sound fair?
DEVON WILKES: That’s cold, bro! Come on, making me your exclusive interviewer could boost your stock around here even more!
NATHANIEL CARTWRIGHT: Oh? Why, you have a job here now?
Evan, realizing where this is going well before Devon, grabs his employer’s arm, but Devon shakes him off.
DEVON WILKES: ’Course not! One company isn’t big enough for Devon ‘Mayhem’ Wilkes!
At that point, Evan just facepalms.
DEVON WILKES:But, okay… no talking about the past! What say you fill in the blanks on the little scoop I just got from one of my army of snitches, eh?! I got word that it’s you versus Damian Ayla at Annihilation for the Excellence Championship!
Nathaniel’s lips tug upwards as if he’s going to smile, or at least smirk, but it doesn’t happen.
NATHANIEL CARTWRIGHT: Then he’ll get what is coming to him sooner rather than later. All the prophetic comments and faux mysteriousness… I’ll dig deep into him and find out what’s real and what isn’t. Perhaps I’ll even take his title. Then the prey will come to me, lining up to be decimated just for a chance to touch something shiny.
DEVON WILKES: That’s what I’m talkin’ about! What else ya got?!
NATHANIEL CARTWRIGHT: You got a pass for the information, Devon. Don’t push your luck.
And, yet again, Nathaniel turns to go. Evan breathes a sigh of relief.
Devon, on the other hand, just does not know when to quit.
DEVON WILKES: C’mon, Nate! That can’t be all! Hey, maybe tell us what the hell’s up with your lady, eh? I heard she took a wa-
Evan sees it coming before the sentence is finished. In fact, it ISN’T finished. Nathaniel whirls on Wilkes, grabbing him by the lapels and lifting him off his feet, shoving him hard against the concrete wall. The man’s legs are dangling a few inches off the floor, his face quickly reddening and his eyes bulging as Nathaniel withers him with a glare, his knuckles white from the pressure of his own grip.
NATHANIEL CARTWRIGHT: Mention her again and they won’t find what’s left of you! Understand me?!
The cameraman wants to do something to help, but he doesn’t want wrath brought down upon his head, either. Devon’s hands go to the wrists of Nathaniel, but the Winter Wraith just shoves him against the wall again, a warning to stop.
NATHANIEL CARTWRIGHT: You don’t get any more chances, Devon. When I let go of you, you’re going to back up, turn around, and walk away. And I’m not going to see your face anywhere in my general vicinity ever again. Am I PERFECTLY clear?
His voice is a soft, dangerous whisper. Devon manages a squeak and a nod.
NATHANIEL CARTWRIGHT: Get out of here.
He lets go and Devon drops to his feet, but stumbles. He does not get much chance to say or do anything, though; Evan grabs him by the arm and pulls him away, the man who called himself ‘Mayhem’ coughing and gasping all the way. Nathaniel stares after them, then turns to look into the camera directly.
NATHANIEL CARTWRIGHT: The hunt has begun, Damian. Sleep well and clutch that title tightly. At Annihilation… I will feast.
Turning, Nathaniel stares straight ahead for a moment, then storms off to prepare for his battle with Holly Rhodes.
As the crowd prepares to cheer for their final match of the night, several people going to get their drinks and other things. However, the sounds of "Obey" by Bring Me the Horizon feat. Yungblud screech over the PA system, and the team of Ophelia Knight and Charlie Jones make their presence known as they walk out from under the curtain to a positive reaction from the crowd. Ophelia, as always, dressed to the nines, holds a microphone in her hand and doesn't seem interested in walking all the way down to the ring. Instead, the two of them walk to the opposite side of the stage, Charlie waving to a couple of people and smiling as the music dies down. Ophelia does the same, grinning next to Charlie. They both wait for a couple of minutes before they begin to speak.
CHARLIE JONES: How is everyone doing tonight?
Another positive pop. They both nod at the sound. Ophelia grins, and raises the microphone.
OPHELIA KNIGHT: That sounds about right. Now...there always comes a time in the wrestling world that we meet the culmination of the fruits of our labors. From Victory I, we watched as the roster scrambled and fought like hell to get a shot at that gold championship belt that Damian Ayla proved he had the wherewithal to take on everyone and take it. Victory II, we watched as some of our roster discovered they were not interested in joining together, selfish for themselves and themselves only. We watched as Kayla Richards' own jealousy kept her from the limelight, we watched as Betsy Granger proved her place in this field time and time again. Nathaniel Cartwright and Holly Rhodes, the two you'll see tonight fight it out, have blossomed and become stars that none others could replace. Last show, we watched as Zoey Madigan-Star rose to prominence as our Impulse Champion. We watched as Allen Chaney decided he would blame others for his inabilities, but...as always, we give chances. Chances we've given to people like Lewis Chad Pinkston. Acid Beth. William Blake Mason. Xaria Linette...
She pauses.
OPHELIA KNIGHT: But there comes a time where the fruits of our labors must be annihilated for progress' sake. Thus...our first Pay-Per-View...
On the screen appears a graphic, the poster for the card. The crowd cheers extremely loudly for it.
OPHELIA KNIGHT: ANNIHILATION will air on November 7th, 2021 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. That's right, international fans...we are travelling outside of America for our pay-per-views. But this card is not like others. When I first started this, I said we were getting back to wrestling...but sometimes, we need to have a night where there are no holds barred, no disqualifications...no rules. Annihilation is that night. The roster will participate in a variety of matches that we'll describe tonight...so pay attention. But a couple of clerical things...
She smiles once more, holding up a hand.
OPHELIA KNIGHT: The theme for the night has been graciously given by the band Everyone Loves a Villain, and will be featured on the show. It is called, "Hell We've Made" and I think you'll find it apt for this night. Additionally, in order to bring about a special treat for the night, we have a special guest commentator. A man who has participated in several non-disqualification and hardcore matches, a man who has visited tonight for fun...and a man who has been a known name for the past five years....Finn Whelan!
A pop is heard for The Seattle Saint. Ophelia nods and grins, and then looks at Charlie.
CHARLIE JONES: Starting off the night will be our open invitational. Not booked on the card, from another company completely? But you want to be featured? Then join Ollie's Open Ovaltational. That's right, the Excellence...Kitty...is holding an invitational for anyone who was not booked that wants to participate in Annihilation. He promises to only scratch you once, or so I've been told...not that he's a wrestler...and shouldn't be participating.
OPHELIA KNIGHT: I think he's rather taking off here.
Charlie shakes her head and rolls her eyes.
CHARLIE JONES: Following that is the match we told you all about in Victory II. The Victory Championship will be contested for in a street fight! Sapphire Delgrado, Lachlan Kane, Angel, Amber Payne, TJ Alexander and El Landerson will fight it out anywhere they feel is needed in the arena. Inside, outside -- all options are available. The one to pin, submit or knock out their opponent will be the inaugural champion.
A nice pop is heard for that.
CHARLIE JONES: Xaria Linette has been sidelined for the last couple of weeks, but after tonight, you know she's looking to avenge her attacker. Xaria will be facing Holly Rhodes in a singles match to give both of them the opportunity to showcase their skills on the PPV Stage!
Ophelia nods next to her, picking up.
OPHELIA KNIGHT: As you may have heard earlier tonight, Kayla Richards and Betsy Granger are tired of each other, and frankly...I'm tired of it too. So! They too will be facing each other in a singles match as well...I didn't think giving Kayla weapons was a good idea.
Charlie snickers. Ophelia continues on.
OPHELIA KNIGHT: The Impulse Championship will have a contender after the ending of the first Annihilation in a Cell Event. Placed in a cell, with weapons available for their own purposes, William Blake Mason, Acid Beth, Chelsea Skye, La Andalucera and Tara Ayla will face each other and they will not be able to leave until someone has won. Or died. One of the two. I am sure Tara will enjoy this. The winner will, of course, go on to face Zoey Madigan-Star at Victory VI!
Another loud pop is heard, especially for the violent parts of this match.
CHARLIE JONES: You've seen them at each other's throats for the last few weeks...and it's not about to end now. Lewis Chad Pinkston--
A loud whoop comes from across the stage. Charlie and Ophelia look in the direction of Lincoln, and then shake their heads.
CHARLIE JONES: LCP will face Allen Chaney in a fans bring the weapons match! That's right! Hand your favorite weapons to the comedians and see what carnage can be dealt. I...actually am excited for this one.
OPHELIA KNIGHT: And finally...Damian Ayla's first contender has been named. Nathaniel Cartwright will face Damian for the Excellence Championship. This match will be fought under deathmatch rules. The winner will walk away with the Excellence Championship, or in Damian's case, keep it in his hands and continue reaching for Heaven through his own methodical violence.
The crowd cheers for this, and the two females nod.
OPHELIA KNIGHT: We will see you Montreal on November 7th! Until then...our final match is about to get under way...Holly Rhodes versus Nathaniel Cartwright!!!
GREYSON MARKS: This is interesting right now. Holly Rhodes has been one of the most impressive names since PWE started. But Nathanial Cartwright has been one of the most dominant forces...
LINCOLN PHELPS: It seems like Nathanial could have been the champion if one or two things went his way
GREYSON MARKS: But Holly could have too...
NINA LAWRENCE: The following match is our main event of the evening and you scheduled for one fall introducing first…:
"Holy diver
You've been down too long in the midnight sea
Oh what's becoming of me "“Holy Diver” hits over the loudspeaker and as soon as the first riff changes, Holly parts the curtain. She slowly walks to the ring, eyes fixed on the ring for a few moments, before she looks around, taking in the atmosphere before finishing her ring walk. She pauses at the steps, takes a deep breathe and slaps the steps before running up them and into the ring, shuffling around the ring, clapping her hands, psyching herself up. She completes a couple of circles and then goes to the corner for stretching.
NINA LAWRENCE: Now in the ring, she stands six-foot-one, and weighing in at one hundred and sixty-five pounds -- from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, HOLLLLY RHODES!!
She smiles as she waves to the cheering crowd. She hasn't done the best, but her bright spirit doesn't seem to be swayed.
Guitars begin over what sounds like a low chanting. It is not long before the stringed instruments overtake the harmony. Most of the lights in the arena go to some shade of blue while particles begin to fall from above the stage, giving the illusion of snow drifting down in the hue of the lights' glow. The Icelandic lyrics of Sólstafir's "Silfur-Refur" are rasping out now as Nathaniel Cartwright, the Winter Wraith, comes out to the top of the ramp. Bare-chested, wearing a jacket with a fur-lined hood raised up, most of his body laden with tattoos, Nathaniel stops at the top of the ramp, his hands in his pockets.
The 'snow' ceases to fall, at which point he grins slightly under the hood and starts down to the ring, drawing taped hands from his pockets. He moves with extreme grace, leaping easily to the apron and vaulting over the top rope, landing in roll and coming up into a crouch mid-ring. Again the 'snow' starts to fall, this time over the ring as the lights converge now on his position. The Winter Wraith, hood still up, knelt on one knee, spreads his arms wide and looks up toward the 'snow', his hood falling back. His eyes close for a moment and then he rises, shrugging out of the jacket and tossing it aside before backing, with deliberate carefulness, into a corner to await the bell.
NINA LAWRENCE: And her opponent; Standing at six-foot-one and and weighing in at one hundred and eighty-eight pounds, from The Canadian Wilderness...The Winter Wraith, NATHANIEL CARTWRIGHT!!!!!!!
DING! DING! DING!
Holly and Nathaniel move to the centre of the ring. Showing surprisingly that they are almost exactly the same size. The same height with Nathaniel weighing a little bit more. They not and slowly back away from each other moving around the ring staring each other up and down. They go for a coller and elbow tie up, pushing against each other Holly showing just how strong she is as Nathaniel struggles against her. They shove against each other on able to get the upperhand or an advantage over the other person. they move around each other again with the crowd clearly behind Holly but them not being completely against Nathaniel. The brooding star winning over a few fans as Holly bounces on the balls of her feet trying to limber up.
They go to lock up again, this time Holly is able to plant her feet and march forward shoving Nathaniel against the ropes. Nathaniel then pushes off the ropes and steps forward pushing Holly back this time. They get to the centre of the ring and Nathaniel shelves Holly backwards and shakes his head as the two competitors stare across the ring at one another In a stalemate.
GREYSON MARKS: Nathaniel is not giving Holly anything here and I get the feeling that Holly is ready to fight for everything...
LINCOLN PHELPS: Holly Rhodes is hot...
GREYSON MARKS: That...that's it? That's all you're contributing to the conversation?
Nathaniel moves around he and Holly stare each other down again and Holly offers for another coller and elbow, this time though Nathaniel slides down and ducks going for a double leg, Holly is able to push her hips forward and block the takedown with her hips before grabbing a hold of Nathaniel and quickly spinning him over slamming him on his back heading up on top. Nathaniel doesn’t allow the referee to jump down and make account straight away kicking his legs and throwing Holly off of his body as both of them get to their feet. Holly Ducks down and grabs hold of Nathaniel by the hips and his legs picking him up and spinning in the air slamming Nathaniel down with a spine buster. Nathaniel hold his back as Holly rolls over his body keeping her shoulders across his midsection using her incredible strength to stand straight up with Nathaniel across his shoulders signaling for the Holly diver!
GREYSON MARKS: She's looking to end it here early!
LINCOLN PHELPS: The Holly Diver is a destructive move, if she hits it it's game over...
Nathaniel kicks his legs and lands behind Holly wrapping his arms around her midsection. He runs her forward into the top turnbuckle and pulls her down rolling her with him before going to dead lift her up into the call of the wild. Holly is able to kick her legs forward land back on the mat to block the move before throwing her hips under Nathaniel‘s face of gravity and throw him over her back to land in the centre of the ring. Nathaniel gets to his feet and Holly comes flying in with a spear taking a Nathaniel down. Holly uses the moment to breathe and get herself a second wind as Nathaniel holds his ribs and rolls towards the ropes.
Nathaniel starts to pull himself up, Holly stays on the attack stepping forward and pulling Nathaniel away going for a teardrop suplex, Nathaniel blocks and hammers his elbow into the top of Holly’s head causing her to stumble backward, Nathaniel grabs her pulling her forward into a suplex position. He snaps his hips downwards pulling upwards sending Holly up and over in a snappy motion. She lands hard on her shoulders and neck causing her to sit up and hold the area as Nathaniel spins around and gets to his feet. He grabs hold of her by the shoulders and forces her to lay down before jumping up and coming down across the top of her head with a jumping knee drop.
GREYSON MARKS: Nathaniel is back in charge, he's showing the world how resilient he is.
LINCOLN PHELPS: But Holly is underrated, or atleast I feel like she is. Holly should be at the top of everyones lists of people to watch in PWE!
GREYSON MARKS: I believe she is, maybe you just don't realize it.
Nathaniel stays on the attack, he pulls Holly up and runs her backwards into the corner before throwing her arms over the top rope exposing the bear skin from her ring gear on her chest. He winds up and hits a hard knife edge chop, Holly holds her chest and leans forward before Nathaniel pushes her arms back and does the same thing. Holly again holds her chest as the crowd seems to stand at the noise that he’s coming out of each shot. Nathaniel does it again one more time and this time Holly stumbles to the side holding her chest where red welts have started to form. Holly realises she needs to create some offence for herself so she rushes Nathaniel who ducks down and throws holly right up in the air hitting the legend of the sun European uppercut. Holly gets hit by the move and goes limp straight away crumbling to the mat. Nathaniel drops down and hook her outside leg for the pin combination.
ONE
TWO
Holly kicks out. Nathaniel gives a small nod of respect but at the same time does not waste any motion as he picks Holly straight up by the hair to her feet flipping her upside down into a scoop power slam throwing all of his weight down upon Holly at the same time. Holly hits the mat and holds her back as Nathaniel rolls and gets to his feet measuring her up calling for the legend of the wood
LINCOLN PHELPS: Uh oh, this could be it...
GREYSON MARKS: If Nathaniel hits it, it's lights out Holly.
Holly starts to pour herself to her feet and Nathaniel takes off going for the bicycle on the strike, Holly is able to move out of the way and avoid it hooking her arms up and under Nathaniel into a full Nelson. She then picks Nathaniel up and slams him straight down onto his back. Nathaniel house in pain and rolls over to his stomach on all fours. Holly reaches down and in an incredible feat of strength picks him straight up for a dead lift German suplex! Holly slams Nathaniel onto the back of his head and neck! Nathaniel rolls over with the momentum and gets to his feet but still clearly in pain, Holly is able to get up duck down and pick Nathaniel straight up with a military press holding him over her head making the crowd gas very audibly in surprise and shock. She then turns and drops Nathaniel onto her shoulder turning it into a front slam.
GREYSON MARKS: Goddamn Holly Rhodes is a beast.
LINCOLN PHELPS: That was impressive, Holly was able to lift Nathaniel up, hold him there and then crash him down.
GREYSON MARKS: It's still an incredible move, Holly is in charge!
Holly calls for Nathaniel to get to his feet and measures him up, she ducks down as he does and lifts him up on her shoulders going for the Holly Driver, she spins Nathaniel in the air but Nathaniel swings his legs around and lands behind Holly, he runs forward and pushes Holly into the top rope, he rolls back and deadlifts Holly up for the chaos theory german suplex he calls the Call of the Wild!. Nathaniel bridges!
ONE!
TWO!
THREE!!
WINNER BY PINFALL: NATHANIEL CARTWRIGHT
Nathaniel's arm is raised high, and he looks up at the stage, where Damian Ayla has reappeared, wife in one arm and the other holding onto the Excellence Championship. Frowning, Nathaniel walks forward and points at the championship, but also has thoughts of Mel Reed in his mind. Her disappearance, brought on by someone. The Aylas. His anger. All of it culminating into the fact that he would not only get his shot at Damian's head, but also avenging his own loss.
It was going to be a glorious night.
Truly.
A glorious ANNIHILATION.
