ENTRANCE DESCRIPTION "You motherfuckers better stay woke, woke
And you know I go straight for the throat"
As 'Killin' It' begins, the lights temporarily dim before switching over completely to infra-red lighting. Kai Driscoll steps out onto the stage in his gear, bathed in the infra-red lightning that completely washes out most of the detail of his form. He stands with his back to the fans and the ramp, rolling his shoulders and breathing heavy to psyche himself up. Suddenly he turns and punches out at the air at the same time that the lightning returns to normal and there is a huge explosion of gold and red pyro that conceals him from view again. Kai steps through the smoke moments later, letting out a mighty roar as the crowd cheers and screams around him. Kai makes his way down the ramp slowly at first, rolling his shoulders and slapping himself in the head a few times before breaking into a sprint about halfway down the ramp. He charges down and slides beneath the bottom rope, rolling to his feet and letting out another yell, which the crowd joins him for. Driscoll steps over to one side of the ring, grabbing into the top rope and standing with one food on the bottom and one foot on the middle for a time. Returning his feet to the canvas, Driscoll pulls on the top rope to check it's strength before marching over to the other side and standing on those ropes instead. With one last look at the crowd, he once again drops his feet down to the ring canvas and backs himself into a corner, resting his arms on the top rope on either side of him.
ALIGNMENT (SELECT ONE -- for information, refer to CHARACTER ALIGNMENT) CHAOTIC NEUTRAL
GIMMICK Kai is, simply put, a prizefighter. And he l-o-v-e-s what he does, probably a little too much. Definitely too much, actually. A fan of combat sports like MMA and Professional Wrestling since he was a kid, his passion grew throughout his school years and arguably turned into something a little more 'intense' than a good old love of the industry. After competing at the Olympic level in both wrestling and mixed martial arts, Driscoll turned down various other career opportunities in order to hit the independent circuit. In very little time at all he'd garnered a reputation for being a ruthless, malicious and often times sadistic competitor but also one most of his colleagues had a good amount of respect for. He wasn't necessarily unapproachable, wasn't always an asshole to everybody he met... he just liked getting paid to hurt people, a lot. He liked winning accolades even more, but after ten years he's grown tired of the small time shows. He's beaten everyone on the indy scene that matters, from Mexico and the USA to Japan. It's about time he burned down the big leagues. So now PWE get's to deal with this hardnose pit-fighter from the broken boulevards of Los Angeles.
RING PSYCHOLOGY (IN-RING ATTITUDE) Kai is here to destroy his opponent. Whether he can do it quickly or has to do it slowly is dependent on the opponent in question, but that's his goal. He'll typically open his opponent up with hard, punishing and well placed strikes before breaking them down with power moves and torturous submissions. Kai is very fond of working limbs, especially arms and knees because if worked over enough injuring those areas can significantly limit his opponent's offense and comeback capability.
WRESTLING STYLE (SELECT A MAX OF TWO) POWERHOUSE: Your character relies on brute strength and size to simply throw their opponents around the ring, using high impact moves - often to make up for sub par technical capabilities. PURORESU: Your character uses moves based on full contact martial arts - strikes, kicks, punches, takedowns and submission maneuvers.
ATTITUDE TOWARDS CHEATING NEVER
STRENGTHS 1. DURABILITY 2. ENDURANCE 3. BRUTALITY
WEAKNESSES 1. ANGER MANAGEMENT 2. TUNNEL VISION 3. AERIAL MOVES RISKY DUE TO LACK OF EXPERIENCE
ABSOLUTELY WILL NOT DO Kai might be a fucking asshole, and he might make every moment of your life that he can a living hell when you piss him off, but unless there's some extraordinary circumstances going on he'll never put his hands on anyone's family unless they get involved first. He might threaten it, but he won't. He also won't just show up and slap the taste out of someone's mouth at random, if he's coming for it it's because you earned it.
ACHIEVEMENTS All of Kai's achievements thus far have been in small independent promotions.
MOVESET.
FINISHING TECHNIQUES
[MOVES THAT CHARACTERS GENERALLY WILL NOT KICK OUT FROM UNLESS DESPERATE -- MAX TWO]
1. SKULLFUCK - Single leg dropkick to down the opponent, then a Curb Stomp in which he really stamps down hard, keeping his boot on the back of his opponent head for a short time before going for the pin.
2. LAST LIGHTS OUT - Deadlift Spinning Spirit Bomb, and for big spots it can stay that way. However, he's just as likely to lift the opponent back onto his shoulders and drop them with repeated powerbombs before eventually going for the pin, or knocking them unconscious and winning by TKO.
SIGNATURE TECHNIQUES
[MOVES POPULARLY USED BY THE CHARACTER -- MAX FOUR]
1. CALIFORNIA DREAMIN' - Roaring Bomber Lariat
2. MURDER ON THE MAT - Sitout facebuster, keeping ahold of the legs and rolling over to stand, dragging them up from between his legs and hooking them around the waist for a wheelbarrow suplex.
3. ANGEL KLLER - Spinning sheerdrop neckbreaker, with his opponent's feet suspended on the top rope.
4. VIOLENCE PARTY - Kai get's the opponent into a Muay Thai clinch, drilling their body with stiff knees as he pushes them backwards hard into a corner. He then releases the clinch and goes to town on them, slamming them with a forearm and then reversing that arm into a back elbow on repeat. After a while of that he'll toss then to the canvas with a snapmare, and then drill them with a punt kick to the head as they try to get up.

BIOGRAPHY
Kai's biography is mostly the same as his gimmick, he really lives at himself. He was a massive fan of professional wrestling as a kid as well as other combat sports like mixed martial arts, action movies too. His parents weren't quite fans of that, both working in the entertainment industry from their Hollywood home on much more 'high class and high brow' projects. They attempted to groom him into being an actor or a director from a young age, but it never really caught a passion with him. More importantly, in his teens he began a wicked and wild rebellious streak that saw him arrested several times, sometimes justifiably and sometimes not. Kai went to college, pointedly not the university that his parents would have preferred, and their relationship has teetered back and forth between distant and estranged ever since.
While he was competing in collegiate wrestling and MMA clubs, Kai's good friend and single mom Trisha Adams was killed by a drunk driver. As she had no immediate family, Kai took in and legally adopted her son Peter. Their relationship was a little rocky to start, but they came to an understanding before long. Peter has turned into arguably Kai's biggest fan, and it's pretty easy to see how much he's rubbed off on the kid.
Ultimately Kai is a self made man. He didn't rely on his Hollywood parents or their substantial fortune to get by in life, he ditched it all and decided to make a living kicking ass.
